My Noodler's Ahab arrived this morning! Unfortunately, they sent me the wrong color. I got Medieval Lapis instead of Piquot. However, it looks so nice, I decided to keep it. Piquot will have to come another time, lol.

Happy accidents make for fun surprises now and then.

Great ! I've had such a problem with my Graf Faber Castell Intuition received in grenadilla instead of pernambuco. Now; I'm happy with that mistake ....

And now, we know which one will ne one of your next pens ..... https://www.fountainpennetwork.com/forum/index.php/topic/267952-which-one-will-be-your-next-fountain-pen/

I am waiting eagerly next to my mailbox for a MontBlanc 14 and 24......I just have to find someone to sell them to me first.

Just got this one with a medium stub last Saturday. It's a great pen, takes a few minutes to find the angle but once you have it, it is close to perfect.

I did too, also last Saturday ;) Mr Pen must have thought there was something in the water in the Netherlands ;)

I think the experience based free advertising here and on the Geeks keeps Mr. Pen quite busy :)

My French Vintage collection should be growing - a Bayard Excelsior in lovely speckled celluloid and my second Edacoto Super.

I'm thinking it's a really really long time since I bought a *new* pen. :-)

"New" is over-rated. :D

Have you posted any photos of your French Collection?

It looks like I'm getting a transitional Esterbrook J today. The nice thing is - no shipping, since I can pick this one up. My first Estie for $9.95.

I think I just missed out on that gray Parker 51 mentioned above.

Lamy's customer service center is sending me a brand new 2000 after mine was lost when they switched locations, which was, now that I got the actual dates from them, back in 2012. Jay (their repair department rep.) was very professional, and quickly fixed the issue for me!

Well, I was waiting for a TWSBI 580 AL and when I thought it finally arrived, it turned out that the seller had made a mistake and set me the TWSBI mini instead. He sent the 580 AL straight away after that and I asked him if I could keep the Mini and do away with the formalities of returning and buying it again and he said it was OK with him. The moment I saw it, I knew I wanted to have it for my girlfriend. It's a cute little pen with a lot of character, at least that's how it appeared to me the moment I opened the box.

I couldn't photograph it so well, but she's not here with and I wanted to send her pictures of it.

And yeah, I'm still waiting for my TWSBI 580 AL!
