A red Platinum Plaisir which will be the carrier of more red ink samples.

Your little sInt Bernard puppy is so precious. Please post a pic of him/her. Just put a pen beside him and ask what we think of the pen.

Well, the two Pilot Metros that I have been waiting for for weeks finally showed up (while I was interstate for a few days, of course), but I haven't had a chance to do anything but dip them so far.

Now I'm waiting on a blue Sailor Sapporo fine. I just got the shipping notification yesterday, and it has occurred to me that it will probably arrive next week while I'm away. Still, the best way to make a delivery happen is to be away from home!

And my TWSBI Lumi just showed up last night! Dang, talk about fast service, I wasn't expecting it to show until next week some time!

What a beaut, Pendleton Brown did a superb job on this nib! This is y first real CI nib (I have a factory Lamy 1.1mm that's kinda (bleep)) and I was somewhat nervous about it, given my experience with that Lamy. I shouldn't have worried, even a fine like this one from PB is amazingly smooth, extremely consistent, and has a lovely line variation. I wouldn't have expected this much variation out of a fine nib!

I'm going to be mailing off my daily-use VP (with the spare fine nib-unit) and my other TWSBI (medium) to him this Friday for more of the same!

I also have a 1911M with the Zoom nib that is a gorgeous, wet writer... but is quite a bit too broad for my size of writing. I end up with indistinct blurbles, instead of a nice, clean line of text. What say you guys; Sell it in the Classifieds and pick up a finer one, or send it off for a medium BLS from Pendleton as well?

It might not seem special, but I am waiting for a scripto I got from eBay for a few dollars shipped. If it works, great! If not, I have a pen I can tinker with without fear of breaking it.

A Pendleton Brown butter stub TWISBI micarta. I might just have to call it the Brown Butter.

Can't wait!

Yum, I'm getting mine back from him soon (had to send it back for a flow adjustment). Love the pen and his grind on that nib is phenomenal.

Also coming back with it is a Custom 92 and from Japan cometh...
