What pen are you waiting for in the mail?

I got my Sheaffer Statesman triumph plunger filler back from Master Berg, and it is a truly decadent delight in a plain brown wrapper. This one was used so much, the ridges on the section are almost worn smooth right where fingers would be. And when you write with it, you understand why.

This one: http://cdn3.volusion.com/rvbga.avcnm/v/vspfiles/photos/CK71230-5.jpg?1396618737

I just returned mine. Notice the red ink has bled down into the threads

Also, notice the scotch tape, wrapped around the end cap. It came off so I used tape. The gold strip around the middle of the pen, also came loose.

I may have just got a lemon, but boy, what a lemon it was. I have already mailed it back. They're sending me another one, but with the black trim this time.

Conway Stewart Marlborough leverfiller in gray-black marbled barrel two-tone IB

'The Yo-Yo maneuver is very difficult to explain. It was first perfected by the well-known Chinese fighter pilot Yo-Yo Noritake. He also found it difficult to explain, being quite devoid of English.

So we left it at that. He showed us the maneuver after a sort. B*****d stole my kill.'

Indeed it is the elusive Golden Trout. Lover of high altitude and dry flies with red on them.

Nice pen!

1. An Eversharp Skyline from Greg Minuskin with 0.70 mm stub. I had been lurking around Minuskin's site for six months before finally plunging into his pool.

2. A Parker Vac with twin jewels from Gary on ebay

3. The last one was an impulse bid. I never thought I would have the guts to go for a Big Red (though it's a Junior)
