A Parker Striped Duofold & a brown body Sheaffer Crest?

Is there a way to tell what model are a Sheaffer Crest? or is it simply any model with the long gold filled cap?

A green Estie, and a nearly matching green Cascade. Huzzah, another Estie, and a brand I've never had before!

I recently clocked up 25 years in my job so got a catalogue and so many points to spend.

Guess what I looked for first. Unfortunately they only had 1 fountain pen but it is a Montblanc, a classique platinum line 145p.

I ordered it this morning.

not really in the mail, yet waiting for it:

I bought two Lamy's at la Couronne for my birthday. So now I have to wait a few more days before I can unpack one. And until next weekend (when we have a part) to unpack the second...

Four glass dip pens filled with colored water. I've had glass nibs before and quite like them.

Meanwhile, Unknown Black Pen with Gold-Colored Trim (tentatively identified as an Arnold -- the only idenfitication is an 'A' inside a circle on the clip) arrived today; I have some more research, and some restoration to do. Needs a new sac, and the nib needs a little work (if not replacement -- much of the gold plate has been worn away). Should be lovely when it's all cleaned up.

I went ahead and splurged on one of the $10 Pilot Metropolitans from Staples. It should arrive Monday. Since I have a rewards card the shipping was free. I may pick up a couple more as gifts before the sale is over.
