A user grade Parker 61 in black with a reportedly flushed capillary unit, ready to write, according to the seller. Been meaning to get one of these for a while, so, at $40, I couldn't really pass it up. Not when everything else is going for $70+ on eBay now.

About to close the deal on a Pelikan M215 Blue with Stripes and medium nib.

#1 is a Parker Vector in blue (a boring looking affair)

 

Oh, the Parker Vector isn't boring, it's a very robust fountain pen .

 

The only drawbacks to it are that the section is steel, and it's a bit thin. But it's a great fountain pen to take out into the big wide (dangerous) world.

 

Try taking it out with you, you may not find it to be so boring when you're using it in the wild.

I currently have more than one i717 piston filler Dollar Pens snailing their way to me. Actually the USPS tracking says that I'll be getting them in a couple of days, thoroughbred snail.

 

Yeah, I had a moment of weakness and that's all it took.

 

I haven't been buying pens for years, can't afford it. Well I'm going to have to afford these fountain pens. I will have to immediately go back on the wagon here. But once every few years isn't that bad, right? And maybe I'll hit the lottery one of these days and have enough money to buy all the fountain pens and ink that I want. Yeah, that could happen .
