What pen are you waiting for in the mail?

I envy the people above for the parcels they are expecting. I am returning to work after a 1.5 year paternal leave (I wanted to spend time with kids) and I just ordered two pens to use at work. Jinhao 159 will be the showpiece on my desk and the other, Hero 616, I plan to carry with me (I take a lot of notes). Since they are priced around 3-5$ a piece, I can probably survive if I they get lost or stolen...

I didn't even know I was waiting for a fountain pen, but apparently I am. Dunno what it looks like, dunno even what is it's name. For now, it is just a mysterious Ronin, wandering by, one of seven samurai. Hey, I'm flexible - I suppose I'll find out soon enough if it is....

Still waiting to hear they've been shipped. :-(Sadly no chance of them arriving before I go to NZ on the weekend. I'm hoping they'll be here when I return.

Apparently 2 of then have arrived. One more (the Orange one) to come. It should be there next week, finally. In time for my return to Australia. Then I'll have all 4 colours of the brilliant Pilot Custom Heritage 92 pen. Yay!

Italix Parson's Essential in burgundy with a medium cursive stub. I'm finding it hard to contain my excitement. For me, there's something perfect about a good sub-£50 pen; they're so utilitarian.

It'll have to go some to beat my TWSBI Diamond 580 and Mini, but I've only heard good things. Peter Ford at mrpen.co.uk is a real pleasure to deal with as well - my first grown up pen came from him and his service is top notch.

Better a witty fool than a foolish wit.

My Italix Parson's Essential. I ordered it on Saturday via Amazon, and it should be arriving tomorrow.

Ooh, snap! What colour/nib?
