What pen are you waiting for in the mail?

Just ordered what I hope to be my grail pen - a MB Agatha Christie.

I hope the Mississippi drops soon so I can get back on the river and away from all this temptation.

Is that a vintage pen? I hope it doesn't disappoint, good luck!

I'm waiting for these, both will need new innards but are otherwise in very good shape.

Okay, maybe this is a silly question... how does the cap attach on the black pen? I don't see any threads on the body

Looks to me as though it just goes on, maybe it just fits tightly? I'll find out when it gets here. Here's the image with the cap on:

Squeee! it was pen arrival day! Waterman, Lucky curve (in really great shape but for the inside) Parker 51, unknown, and. Mabie Todd 14k plated. The three on the right are in "write now" condition, so I am off to play.

FPR Triveni, mottled green, flex nib. I bought this mostly because I like my Serwex MB but I'd rather have something that looks nicer and can be converted to ED.

Waterman's Ideal Ringtop in BCHR, with superflex nib. Unknown model but most likely a 12 or 52. I'll be able to identify it properly once I have it.

Contemplating purchasing a transparent Pilot Custom 92. What nib sizes did you choose?

Two will be Mediums & 1 Fine. I'm left handed and this will be my first Japanese Fine.

Well, that's all for now. Haven't even inked it yet. I'm off to No. 246 for dinner with family (who flew all the way out from Sacramento to be with us this weekend!)

Happy writing!

Congratulations, Tom!

I'm anticipating the arrival of an all black Pelikan 3 pen pen pouch. Seemed to be heavily favoured in the reviews.

A few Chinese ones off the Bay. To play with nibs.

A Montblanc 146 from the nineties, on its way from Holland.

A Waterman Carene.

And the lovely Platinum Urushi that I hope will be the centerpiece of my collection for many years to come.

No signature. I'm boring that way.
