Absolutely!

I was just telling a friend about my latest purchase and when I said, "three French pens," she sang, "Two turtle doves and a partridge in a pear tree!"

Just ordered a NOS Pilot Tow from Mr. Speerbob! :-) This is my first out of production pen (pretty sure it's not old enough to be "vintage") but its such a looker I couldn't resist. Plus it's the same price as an Al-Star and I'm pretty sure it'll be much more impressive. And now I have my eye on a never-inked Targa as well... They would make such a cute set!

Nice

Is the Riviere something like the Aurora Hastil?

Yeah, looks pretty sweet I think...tbh though, I really don't know much about the pen. I've seen some with gold plated nibs, and there seems like there might exist a silver (plated?) version, though this should be stainless steel (have seen someone say aluminium in a forum, but I doubt that). Seems like they are from the 70's or perhaps more likely the 80's. A striped one was sold about a month ago for $70, and I found a couple of old auctions ending in the same range a year ago (although the photos are gone now, so I can't be sure it's exactly the same thing).

It'll look a lot better when I'm finished with it.

Someone is going to Love this one. I have enough Root Beer's for me.

I just won a Platinum PKW-5000 pen on one of Stan Klemanowicz's (Ryojusen Pens) eBay auctions. It has a double-sided 14K nib - fine and medium - and looks like it is in excellent condition. I can't wait to get it!

Vanishing Point, m-nib, gunmetal-black from Richard Binder.

Got my shipping notice last friday, now it's waiting for the package to cross the big lake and clear customs...

My sandalwood Fosfor Islander from manojd. Stuck in the Amsterdam mail center, halfway around the world, for almost two weeks now. Or so the tracking info tells me. It still has to cross an ocean on its way to me...

I am waiting for a Visconti Homo Sapiens Bronze with a medium nib. I have a Typhoon in blue and it's become my favorite pen. I hope the HS pen lives up to the hype!
