Pelikan 400NN Brown Tortoise. My second pen of the year and the first I've purchased from Ebay. It will take a time to arrive.

My first was an Omas Milord Old Style in February, but I couldn't try it yet because I'm waiting on the cartridges (from Ebay too).

All my pens have arrived. Kaweco sport arts (aksehir, granit, samba), stylochap, two Bayard Excelsiors.

Ridiculous - I feel quite sad. I have nothing left to look forward to.

(On the other hand of course I have three pens to do some repairs on, and three pens to ink up and have fun with)

Too many pens, too little time!

A Pelikan 625 red, with M nib, coming from the UK. This time I ask to send it to my office, so my kids will not take to a hospital for metal disorders.

Should be here between Apr 10 and May 17th. Yes, that kind of exactitude.

A Wahl-Eversharp Doric Junior. Been tracking the package compulsively these days and if it's accurate, the postman should arrive any day now

Two 149 from ebay, hopefully the pistons work fine as indicated, MB prices on ebay have been weird, didn't win a couple of 146 that went for more than the 2 149 i did snag

Just ordered a TWSBI Vac 700 to compliment my 580. I decided to go for the 1.1 mm stub, the same as on the 580. As I was ordering from Goulet and live in Iceland I decided to throw in a Noodler's Konrad Demonstrator (already have one in dark grey) and some Noodler's Turquoise. To round things out I bought one of the $2 Noodler's nibs thinking I might try and fit the flexy one on the Vac. Let's see how that turns out.

Waiting on a whole collection of bits of pieces - mainly quirky vintage things seeing as I have figured out I can try out more interesting and different things with a bit of ebay trawling on less expensive items than by buying one or two big things.

Parker 45 ballpoint with Coca Cola advertising on the clip and 2 Parker Pen leather pen cases.

Just received a Parker advertising Calendar Jotter with the Mr.Pibb trademark on it.

Nice! Vintage Pelikans are a joy to write with and 400NN is a wonderful model, I'm sure you'll love it. Happy writing! :)

A Pelikan 150 in a gift box and a Pelikan 250 featuring the signature of Ramon Herzog, last president of the DDR. I wanted to fill in some numbers between 100, 120, 130, 140, 250 and 400.

I received notice that my Pelikan m400 is on the way. What ink to try first? I am thinking, Diamine Majestic Blue, but open to suggestions.

It arrived! $266.00 is a pretty good price for a new Pelikan m400, but for that much I ought to have found a general use pen that I can put in my shirt pocket and use throughout the day in writing and editing text, taking notes, and signing. I have perused the entries on ink preferences. There seems to be wide ranging opinions about which inks are most and least compatible with the m400. Over the next few weeks, I will be trying out a few inks and choices of paper, and learning whether I have made a good purchase.

Matte Gold/Lizard Pilot Metropolitan. Should arrive today. I know, it's a $15 pen, but I'm excited to see if this pen performs as well as described in the many reviews I read.

Awaiting my newly restored Esterbrook - an excavated treasure give to me by a friend, and some funky glittery Jinhao from the Bay.

A Pelikan m200 with an ef nib with an italic grind. Am being enticed by fine stubs and italics to use in my hobonichi planner but i am not convinced that this purchased will have a happy ending!
