So now the wait is for the 2 Hero and the Kaigelu pens.

You will be surprised, I received a 356 yesterday and it's really a Sonnet light but the nib is absolutely perfect.

Pete from Springhill Creations has finished my bespoke MASSIVE desk pen. This thing weighs 85g and has a Jowo fine nib polished and tweaked by the maker. A long time in the waiting but hope you agree it is a stunner. When it arrives I will post a thread on it with review and size comparison but for now here are Petes pics he is teasing me with

WOW! (above) the green barrel and cap have the quality of being a living form of natural growth!

I, on the other hand am awaiting two Chinese visitors, both interestingly reviewed in FPN at a level to warrant a close look:

The Jinhao version of the Safari in Orange (I like the clip) and the Parker Duofold-style Kangaroo 316. There is a stapler company in India, also a marsupial.

I wonder if they were separated at the pouch?

I have a Pilot VP in yellow with a "F" nib coming from John Mottishaw along with bottles of Sailor Sei-Boku and Edelstein Amber. If I like the Amber I'll pick up another couple bottles so I can keep it on hand.

Inks count too, right? :-) I'm waiting for two bottles of Chesterfield Archival Ink (aka rebranded Diamine Registrar's) that are coming from PA... Tracking says they will get here Friday, but it also appears that they haven't left PA yet? Very curious...

2 parker 45's (one playboy edition [don't ask] and one flighter all silver, both of which I will most likely resell) and a Sheaffer Snorkel. :)

Esterbrook J copper off eBay. My first Esterbrook. I am an absolute sucker for Copper (real metal or colored) pens.

I have a Lamy 2000 F on the way with a bottle of Iroshizuku Yama-Budo.. Don't know when it will be here exactly but I know one thing: I am very eager to put my hands on this holy grail of a pen :)

Just ordered an Edison Collier Persimmon Swirl, with a 1.1mm stub nib, from the Goulet Pen Company. Can't wait, the reviews I've seen, and fellow FPN'ers have, all been really positive.

Regards,

Kevin

I just got a bottle of the Sei-boku. It’s great.

I’m waiting on a Platinum #3776 Sai [M]! It’ll be my first Platinum.
