I think I've lost it!! Got three in the mail at once. Got a a second Jinhao Long March pen coming, just won a Conway Stewart 85 on ebay too (and I wait with trepidation as to how it will write!!), and best of all, a Bexley Simplicity coming from The Writing Desk. Cannot wait. :roflmho:

It can't get here soon enough! A Sheaffer Imperial Touchdown in gold barleycorn, it's a Masterpiece! Every part of it is hallmarked 18K. Needless to say, my most expensive pen ever.

Waiting on a Levenger True Writer Starry Night. It is supposed to be here on Thursday. I hope, I hope, I hope . . .

Oooooh. That's a beautiful color scheme. I've been arguing with myself about getting one for a few weeks now and I think the "do it" side of my brain is winning the debate.

Ok, I am going home. Work week's over (sorry for US friends, you have still some hour in front of you!).

Now, if only my new M420 would be at home waiting for me... mailman, where are you?

Filled out my first time sheet today. New job, started eight working days ago. Temporary short-term contract. Figured I could allow myself to indulge.

Since I already have a pen from all major North American manufacturers, from almost all decades through the past hundred years, I figured it was time to get vintage European pens.

I will be waiting for two pens in the coming days/weeks :

Fernan,

Your collection has got to be one of the most complete on the planet. The examples shown by clicking the link you provided are beautiful indeed. That's some mighty fine nibwork, Sir!!!

Keep up the great work. I really enjoy reading your posts (and learn a lot in the process).

Very Best Regards,

I only bought one of those that you referred too, quoting my own post. It's the first one, the Onoto, because of the nib : a semi-flex medium stub. My collection is a very modest one -- I'm sticking to what I can afford, mostly vintage, writing instruments that the majority of people would have worked with. Only about twenty-five pens.

One of the members of the Ottawa Fountain Pen Society says he has more than seven to eight hundred pens, which he has been collecting for the past 25 years. His twin brother has only three hundred, more or less.

Thank you for your comments about my posts. I also love to read your posts.

Fernan
