Just made my first order with the Goulet Pen Company, waiting now for a Noodler's Ahab Flex (Medieval Lapis) and a TWISBI Vac 700. I also ordered a selection of notebooks, a couple of Noodler's inks and a pen case.

Best of luck with the Ahab. I had bad luck with two in a row and moved on, but I sincerely hope yours work out better, and I would be very interested to hear how they do. I wonder if part of my problem was using Nooders ink. It's Watermans or Diamine for me from now on.

FINALLY! I got my order of "generic German" ink cartridges today. Now I get to play with my new Jinhao pen. :)

Thanks for the heads-up. I've read mixed reviews of the Ahab. I'll try it with the Noodler's ink and report back! I've heard that Noodler's ink can be a problem, especially their waterproof inks in some pens but you'd have thought it would be fine in their now pens!

My first Pelikan- a 400NN brown tortoiseshell!

You sure know how to spoil yourself... I'm thinking about getting an M800 before they are all gone. But. I'm searching for my last pen (at least for a while), so I need to think on it.

I'm worth it.

;)

I really would like the re-issue- the tortoise M101N- but I'm going to see how I like this vintage one first. What color M800? Do you have any Pelikans?

The LE M800/Tortoiseshell. I have the M205 Grenn Duo, an M400 in Black w/Silver trim, an M600 in Red/Black, and an M805 in Blue/Black... Perhaps I have enough  .

I'm waiting for this unrestored leverfill to arrive shortly. It was a cheapy off ebay so no real harm done if restoration goes wrong. Not sure what i can do about staining on cap as i think its ink.

Perhaps just washing out the cap will remove an inklayer and make it much lighter...

Pelikan M200 tortoise with a M nib. Didn't know they existed. As soon as I realized they did, I had to have this version of the pen which fits my hand better than any other.

We're going to need some pictures when it arrives. You didn't think you could mention a tortoiseshell Pelikan and just keep it all to yourself, right? ;)

Congrats

An old 'celluloid' lever fill pen. Looked to be in decent shape by the pictures and if it's a dud, a new sac and nib will be alright. Nothing super fancy, but I loved the looks.

AAAAnd, waiting with breath for my Midori traveler's notebook, but since that is coming all the way from Japan, I better grab my inhaler, since it will take a while.

I adored it from afar for over 2 years now, built my own vinyl version, etc, because back then 60 Dollars seemed unjustifiable. Now I saw the original size one new for 41 Dollars and decided to pull the trigger. Insert package separately and a new pen case from Korea to go with my recently received Triveni ebonite flex nib pen. (Gorgeous, btw, that Triveni ebonite)

Can't wait for all that to land in my mailbox.

I'm waiting for a vintage Liberty flex pen, which was very kindly offered to me by a member of these forums.

This'll be my first good pen, can't wait! It's crossing the pond though, so I guess I'll have to stem my excitement somehow or I'll explode before it gets here ;)

Just placed an order for a Conway Stewart Churchill with fine nib and lever fill mechanism. From the reviews it seems like a great pen, from the pictures on the Conway Stewart website it looks like a beautiful pen! I've opted for the Rioja style.

Kevin
