What pen are you waiting for in the mail?

I have absolutely quite buying pens, so I am only waiting for one pen. I had to buy a gold filled sterling silver Cesare Emilliano fountain pen that is new and never used. I love these pens because they are smooth writers and since they are no longer manufactured I buy one when ever it becomes available, even if I am not buying any more pens.

Of course my moratorium on pen purchases will have to be examined when I go to the LA Pen Show.

Hello all,

I made my first purchase of Chineese Foutain Pens today, so I am waiting for a Jinhao 5000 and a Baoer 388 in the mail. Images below (first the Jinhao and then the Baoer).

Both pens cost less than $30 delviered. So I am a bit skeptilal because the pens are so cheap, but I have read good reviews on both pens. Only time will tell on how good they really are! But as they are one the slow boat from China I will have to be paitiant.

I'm waiting for a Namiki Falcon (SF). I've had the opportunity to try my friend's Falcon in Soft Fine and it just sold me, completely. I'm waiting for it and some Noodler's Black Swan In Australian Roses ink from Gouletpens. :)

I'm really excited! It's my first "expensive" pen, as I've had only Noodler's pens, Safaris and Hero pens before.

I'm waiting for two fistfulls of pens from ebay. One I suspect never made it into the mail - if it did, it is now lost. If it does not turn up in time I will just ask for a refund.

The other is a long and remarkable story (Well, to me, but I am easily amused) of a bunch of pens that may be here tomorrow. No real clear idea of the names of the pens, but the pictures showed lots of pretty stuff, and I got a good deal, so if even only two or three pan out I will be way ahead of the game.

i really have to break down and buy re-saccing supplies, though....

Waiting for six or seven pens from India, they - again - got sent to the Netherlands and are hopefully on their way to me by now. How I wish post office workers were required to know geography... I think most stuff that has to come to Curaçao goes by way of the Netherlands, when people think Netherlands Antilles is in Holland. Way better though than those who think Curaçao is in Spain or Portugal... Super frustrating, it adds about two weeks travel time to anything people send me.

I'm waiting impatiently for two Zebra multi pens, which are not fountain pens, but they were ordered before Christmas and got delayed by the holiday clog in the postal service. Any day now. *frets*

I was supposed to be finished, but I had fun on ebay again.

I'm now waiting for 3 Esterbrooks, of which I will keep one. I'll give one to my wife and the other to my 18 year old son. They have tried my Imperial and really liked it.

I also am waiting for a set of nibs for a dip pen. I have an inexpensive holder, but I'm watching a few nice ones.

I am also waiting for a crystal inkwell that is monogrammed with a "C" - the first letter of my last name. I need something to hold the ink for the dip pen I'm planning to get.

Thanks to a sudden urge to find a replacement for my very first fountain pen, I decided to see what eBay had to offer, this may have been a bit of a mistake.

I had a Sheaffer school pen for second grade penmanship class. The one I had was the transparent green version, I have no recollection of the nib size. This pen is long gone.

I now have four packages inbound. I managed the high bid on an NOS school pen in transparent gray. I then spotted a listing for a restored Sheaffer Snorkel Clipper set (black, M nib) and had the high bid on that. I also found another NOS school pen, this one in transparent green. I noticed another Snorkel set, a burgundy Sentinel with an F nib.

At this point, I decided that I had better stay away from eBay for a while.

Also, my L2k is awaiting Mr. Brown's attention and should be back in my hands around the same time :puddle:

Caran d'Ache ballpoint in red. For a ballpoint it's actually kind of handsome...

I was buying a couple DVDs on Amazon today (I lead a group at church where we watch films and talk about them over beer and popcorn) and I'd seen one of these Caran d'Ache ballpoints at J.Crew yesterday so I had to add a red one to my cart before I checked out. Granted, it's a ballpoint, but I need a good ballpoint for those triplicate NCR forms at hospitals if I'm going back into chaplaincy work this summer.

Got a new Safari coming in through Amazon. Says it left their facility and arrived at my town today. Cannot wait. Though, has anyone else noticed Amazon 2-day is turning into next-day shipping?
