Awaiting the arrival of my replacement Sheaffer School pen. The barrel of my old 80's-vintage one was broken in an unfortunate office mishap last week.

I'm waiting for two pens via Ebay. Both of these pens are supposed to have some nice flex to the nib. Estimated arrival is today.

the first is a Waterman, Grey and Black. http://www.ebay.com/itm/121225684220?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649#ht_785wt_988

I'm thinking of loading Grey ink into this one. I'll be testing this one as soon as it comes in.

The second is an Imperial, Black and Silver. http://www.ebay.com/itm/111228883619?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649#ht_804wt_988

I'm going to give this one to my family so they can give it to me as a Christmas present. Not sure of the ink color for this one; I'm going to visit a nearby store Saturday and find something, probably from Noodlers. Leaning toward a blue or green on this one.

Tom

Waterman Ideal - blue ink; Esterbrook 2048 - brown ink; Waterman Carene - black ink

Two Pelikan M200 pens both new old stock with stickers. One in black, another in grey marble both with medium nibs. Not the current version but the earlier type from the 1980s with a more elgant elongated and rounded tip on the cap.

I decided to get a pen for Christmas and decided on a DaniTrio Cum Laude.

I couldn't decide between the blue/grey and the brown so I ended up ordering both.

As I should only be buying one, my cats are buying me the other. They were going to buy both but I decided I am allowed to buy myself a present and they don't get much pocket money so they can only afford one.

Just ordered a matte black Lamy Safari with a 1.5mm italic nib. I'm going to fill it with Diamine Deep Magenta and use it for marking. Or I might swap the Kelly Green out of my TWSBI Diamond 580 and put the magenta in that.

I'm also waiting on the return of my Cross Apogee, which has hopefully been having its troublesome nib fixed. I've got some Diamine Twilight on the way for that.

Better a witty fool than a foolish wit.

Okay. I confess. I am a lawyer. (Phew. It was good to get that off my chest.) So I couldn't resist bidding on a new Delta Lex on eBay.

Well guess what? I won it with a bid about 70% below the list price.

Now I breathlessly await the opportunity to try out Delta's fusion nib. (I have requested the Stub from the seller.)

Finally gave into flex curiosity and ordered Noodler's Ahab and Creaper. Can't wait to try them out!

Oh my word - it's everything I didn't even know I wanted from a fountain pen when I first bought it. Smooth, inky, wow...

The Diamine Twilight is amazing too - so dark.

It even has a nice 9xxx nib in it. It should clean up very nicely and make Somebody very happy.

A grey and russet Waterman 32 with a flexible broad nib from Deb at Goodwriters. Deb's brilliant, but the post at this time of year is slooooow...

A flight of Pilot 78 Gs is inbound at the moment. On the scope, but not yet airborne: I'm also waiting on an Edison Nouveau Premiere Macassar Ebonite with fine nib, but, that's not going to be leaving the hangar for a few more weeks yet.

I'm waiting on the Premiere Macassar Ebonite, too.

Did you get steel or gold for your F nib? I got the steel, but I hope to upgrade to gold eventually.

I am waiting for another collaboration

with John Brady (JEB's Pens). It is based

on his Lhotse model in a Red Urushi Acrylic

from Richard Greenwald. But alas, I will have

to wait until after the holidays before it arrives.
