A refurbished Levenger Plumpster, fine nib.

Let's see...three "51"s, a 61 with an Acct. nib, a vintage Italian vac-filler with a custom nib, a Waterman Crusader (I think that's what it is), a Balance and a DURABILT, a Hero 100 Flighter, an Estie, a Majestic with a semi-flex nib, a 45, and a Pilot 78G. At some point in time, there should be a blue TrueWriter headed back to me from a buddy I loaned it to.

All in all...a pretty good batch of pens! Fix a few, keep a couple of 'em, using at least one in a neat project (maybe more - depends on the condition of some of the nibs when they arrive), and probably send a few of them off to new homes when they're done...maybe yours!

My God man! I want to be like you when I grow up.

A Lamy Vista F, a Yellow Safari F, two converters, and a couple of replacement nibs (1.1i and F) for my own Safari are on the way over. The Writing Desk UK (no affiliation) gave me a really phenomenal deal; It was $50 shipped total to the states.

My younger brothers cannot wait for their new pens, hopefully these will last them through high school.

Right now I'm waiting for a Conklin Crescent filler. I am very curious to see if Mark Twain is correct about the value of this pen.

A Black Lamy Safari M nib w converter. I love the grip at my RB Lamy and am very anxious to try the FP. I really want a bulletproof FP that can put up with maltreatment during travels and lectures and so forth and I think this might be the one. I like the functional non-fussy approach of Safari.

It's been a good week for me. I went from being a rather broke student to getting the biggest tax return of my life (part of having a real summer job for once).

So, I'm happily waiting on a black Aurora 88, a slate gray Vanishing Point and a Tortoise 400NN. These are the first pens I've bought in a long time. It's going to be a great week :)

I am waiting for three (3) Danitrios, three (3) Pilot 78Gs, and a Levenger Metalist. I predict the order of receipt will be:

I. The Danitrios - 1 Tac Carry II, 1 Cum Laude, 1 Tempo

II. The Pilot 78Gs - 1 Green, 1 Red, 1 Black, all F, from China

III. The Levenger -- Sapphire Metalist with my initials in it -- I got it for a discount because of the monogram, which actually matches my initials.

I'm eagerly awaiting a Lamy 27, hoping it will be in as good condition as the image I've seen of it. If someone bothered to save the original packaging all these years (even the warranty card is still there), I figured the pen ought to be in great shape. As seems to be quite usual, the current owner inherited it and never used it, hopefully it not all clogged up. I'm just wondering what ink to use with it...

Best regards,

Markus
