What pen are you waiting for in the mail?

I was given some money for my birthday recently and, rather than spend it on one mid-range pen, I decided to experiment with a few Chinese pens. I’ve heard and read mixed reviews, so I’m very keen to get my hands on these and give them a test drive. I’m waiting for the following:

Wing Sung 01 porcelain with landscape design

Jinhao 500 brown marble

Jinhao 500 red marble

Duke D2-1 gold

Jinhao 159

Jinhao 750 milk white

**Must remember to clean them thoroughly first**

The Duke arrived yesterday.

Thought I'd use it to write a quick first impression.

And I did remember to give it the soapy water treatment before its first fill.

Perry -- great seeing you at the Dallas show. Will you post a writing sample? Those look sah-weet!

Oh, pens, all of you are my favorite! TWSBI, Jinhao, Montblanc, Waterman, Danish Penol De Luxe flexy pen, Cross, -- I can't choose between you! That would just be wrong.

Always great pictures to enjoy in this thread!

I'm still waiting for the Nakaya, but that comes in a few months, so not in the mail yet. Meanwhile I'm waiting for two more No Nonsense pens with M and F italic nibs. My favourite daily writers, those pens. :)

Not by mail...

But heading off to the Tilburg Penshow I expect a Montegrappa Ducale waiting for me, as well as a Sheaffer Taranis.

And a Cd'A RNX316PVD (sounds like the newest TV, but is a FP.)

And I hope to see an Edison Collier there too......

And who knows what more the show brings....

Randy, that nib! My Wearever nib is a piece of strash (steel and trash together)- just awful. Lovely looking pen. Enjoy it.

Was waiting for this Wearever for parts... but WOW... waaaaay too nice for parts. Love the colors, pen is in great shape and it has a 14KT nib. Can't wait to tear into this one! Not bad for under $15 shipped

A Burgundy Parker "51" Special with a juicy fine-medium nib...can't wait!

The USPS site says my time of waiting is not yet up.

My pens are somewhere between San Francisco and here. Wherever here is.

On the other hand, they can't track a book from Amazon that shipped on the 29th, with a "guaranteed" delivery on the 1st, and a much shorter path to follow than the pens, so...

It could be worse.
