FedEx is supposed to be bringing me my grail pen, a Conway Stewart Windsor this week. I can hardly wait :bunny01:

Nothing so grand as those pens above, and, technically, I've not received notice they're in the mail yet, so, not even those.

I was given some money for my birthday recently and, rather than spend it on one mid-range pen, I decided to experiment with a few Chinese pens. I’ve heard and read mixed reviews, so I’m very keen to get my hands on these and give them a test drive. I’m waiting for the following:

Wing Sung 01 porcelain with landscape design

Jinhao 500 brown marble

Jinhao 500 red marble

Duke D2-1 gold

Jinhao 159

Jinhao 750 milk white

**Must remember to clean them thoroughly first**

Man, USPS let me down today. They estimated today as the delivery, it arrived in Charlotte at 4am like it normally would the day of delivery, then nothing. No status updates since then. Usually I would see it got sorted in Asheville around 8am and out for delivery at 9am.

I'm just hoping that the package didn't get dropped somewhere in the Charlotte facility... I called their support line and they had even less information than the website tracking did.

I can't remember the last time a shipping company missed their stated delivery date for me. I'm so impatient! Hah. :bawl: :wallbash:

Still waiting on a Pelikan 100 from 1943. Deutsche Post took a week before doing anything. A week after posting it is now finally en route.

Just ordered the new Pilot Justus with the adjustable nib. Can't wait!

It is a nice pen, and the adjustments really make a difference.

I very much agree.

Which ones are the second and third runners-up in your opinion?

Hard to say since the Grand Place is the only one of the series I liked enough to plop down the cash to own!
