A fine, flexible Mabie Todd Blackbird from about 1930. It's currently waiting for me at the post office.

 

That broad flexy Waterman stub I was getting excited about several posts up? No dice. I'd paid the guy (Heritage Collectables in the UK - I've seen some other reports of absent-minded service from him) and was waiting happily, only for him to mail me FOUR DAYS AFTER RECEIVING PAYMENT to say that actually, he'd sold it to someone else about an hour before I "bought" it - for some reason, it wasn't showing as sold on his website. He offered me a completely different (and much less exciting pen) instead, or a 10% discount off another pen. I asked for a full refund. Still smarting a bit. I hope someone here got the pen; it looked lovely.

Just got an update on the Silver Pearl Vac -- seller sent the USPS tracking number, and has pushed up the delivery date. So, in theory, I the pen should come in the mail on Saturday! WOOT!!!!
