Just impulse bought a random, beat up, Lady Sheaffer (brushed gold). Super excited about it since it's already in bad shape I can use it as an every day pen without worrying!

(Also was unable to stop myself from buying a Wing Sung and a Jinhao while I was waiting on Ebay because I am a weak person... so those, too.)

I often get spam with similar wording, although that's never about anything that takes ink, and this just makes me smile.

 

These were all around the price of a cappuccino each, if that much, so as long as I enjoy unwrapping the package I get my money's worth, and if I like how they write, even better...

Greetings all,

 

I am waiting for a restored golden brown Sheaffer Balance 500 lever filler with a Feather Touch semi-flex nib and military clip. My mom had the very same pen when she was a teen; she is 75 now and still talks about that pen occasionally. I can't wait to get it!
