Platinum Plaisir (gold-coloured, medium-nibbed) and a Pilot Metropolitan (also gold with the zig-zaggy band). :D

I'm writing an online serial thing. It's urban fantasy. And I have no idea how long it's going to run for.

Waiting for a new pen from Shawn Newton. He sent me the sketches today. I sent him a photo of an old long (surf) board and asked him to approximate the shape. The cap will be made of custom acrylic resembling the color of wet sand, the barrel of a nice swirly blue/green/white, resembling the surf with section looking like wet dark granite like a jetty. Can hardly wait. Cowabunga!

Waiting for a Sailor Professional Gear Realo - very excited. I've been using a Sailor Reglus which I absolutely love, so the Realo is a step up for me.

Bet you'll be very happy with it...well balanced and no converter to fool around with. Nibs on all my Sailor pens were buttery smooth right out of the box. One of the few brands anymore I buy without wondering if it'll require tweaking because they never do (including the specialty nibs).

Back on topic, out for UPS delivery today is another dual-slit Platinum Music Pen. I'm hoping the nib on this one writes a bit wider than the last.

I always get a kick out of these "no affiliation" notations when it's blatantly obvious the poster has absolutely nothing to do with the brand, company, etc. beyond being a customer. It must be a feel-good/feel-important thing. So I'll note up front that nothing I write here on this forum is influenced by any financial-gain motivation.

I am waiting on a Pelikan Classic M200 clear demonstrator. The people at the little shop where I ordered it ran around like crazy chicken when they got to know that it costs 110€.They usually sell student pens from Pelikan and Lamy and never got an order like this before it seems. I´m wondering what they will do when I order my first Pelikan M1000 at their shop? Become consciousless at once?

This one. I realize it may not be to everyone's liking, but I couldn't be happier with the way it has turned out. It's a custom pen from from Newton Pens. I wanted a pen to remind me of the beach every time I looked at it. The cap is the color of wet sand, the barrel looks (to me) like crashing waves, and the grip is the color of a wet granite jetty. I emailed Shawn a pic of an old-style long surfboard, and asked him to approximate the shape. I can hardly wait to hold it.. I think I'm gonna like this one.
