Yes, the name is a problem. But it's so beautiful that I had to have it! If some day it should write properly, I will use it to show off in public.

Absolutely! I love it! It's very beautiful!

Just placed the order for my Naranja yesterday, hopefully this will quell my desire to splurge on the Dolcevita temporarily. This will be my first foray into Chinese pens, wish me luck!

Gump, I love the look of this and the orange color (Naranja is an apropos name!) I love that in Sanskrit, naranja means orange tree but can also mean a libertine, a living being or a twin. I have a Sanskrit dictionary and it's amazing how many words have multiple divergent meanings. I did not look this up in the dictionary, however, as it is too complex, really, to use on a regular basis.

A Sheaffer Snorkel in what looks to be Peacock Blue, a Midnight Blue P-51, a lot that might have 1-2 more 51's in it (they might be 21's the picture was really bad) and, what I'm most excited about, a Parker 51 Aero in Cocoa with a demonstrator hood. All for a total of $121.77 shipped, it was a good weekend on eBay!

These lots turned out to be a Sheaffer Snorkel Saratoga in Pastel Blue (the only letdown of the bunch), two P 51 Vacs in Cedar Blue, A P-51 special with a gold nib and pearly cap jewel and a P-51 Demi Aero half demonstrator in Cocoa. I am a happy camper!

It certainly is, I do have a bit of a wait before I can enjoy it, as it ships from Japan. More time to consider what to ink it with once it arrives....

Sheaffer Touchdown filler, Feathertouch #5 nib, Craftsman model (I'm reasonably sure).

I've actually had it here. I got it for $12, but I'm not up to restoring the filling system, and sent it out to Danny Fudge. I wrote with the dipped nib, and a little minor smoothing couldn't hurt, but it's basically good.

Any ideas of what ink you might use, Gump? Orange or is that too much orange?

ISW_Kaputnik, that's a real find. I found a working Sheaffer Sentinel Deluxe with Touchdown filler for $20 yesterday. I'm going to flush it (which I should've done upon arriving home but I was piggy about filling it and seeing if it worked) and may undertake a restoration with an FPN friend's help.

Waiting for a Sailor Professional Gear Realo - very excited. I've been using a Sailor Reglus which I absolutely love, so the Realo is a step up for me.

I'm waiting on a transitional Esterbrook, that I can't wait to restore, and make live again. Should be here tomorrow.

According to UPS early warning: a new Red Sailor 1911M, with a m/f nib tuned for a lefty ordered from CFP is supposed to come tomorrow.

Oh yes, there is a bottle of kon-peki that may arrive from Japan tomorrow also...that would be a cool cosmic conjunction!
