I'm quite excited! They're the first pens I've ordered for myself, and they're my only pens other than the one I have now (a Levenger TrueWriter).

I bought the 2006 Version of the 1996 Delta Pompei at the Columbus Pen Show a couple of months ago. Got a great price on it from Sherrell Tyree!

 

But had a medium nib on it and I sent it back to Delta for a swap for a stub nib. This was the beginning of December. Yafa pens (Delta's importer in the states) said it should have been in by Christmas or just after. And now Delta's closed for the holidays. Yafa says whether or not they ship airmail or by sloooooow surface mail depends on how much they have to ship.

 

Still waiting for the nib so I can use the pen. It could be on it's way via slow boat or sitting on someone's desk waiting for the person to come back so they can mail it. Woe is me!
