What pen are you waiting for in the mail?

I just ended up winning an ebay auction for a blue Parker 21 Super. So between that and the ink I ordered from the Goulets, it's going to be an exciting mail week!

Is it any surprise that a fountain pen fancier is also an admirer of old cars? Being both, myself, I decided one day to order a custom-made pen to match my old '55 Cadillac. So I contacted Shawn Newton ("Watch_Art" on this site) about doing it. I had a design in mind, and Shawn (also an admirer of old cars) agreed to do it. So that's what I'm waiting for... my "Cadillac Pen." Should be about six weeks... Oh, what a looong six weeks it will be!

Waiting for a Waterford Kilbary Emerald that should arrive tomorrow. When it gets here, I plan to ink it with Noodler's Zhivago. A great way to end the year.

I'm waiting for a couple of handmade Ratnam pens in ebonite - a Ratnam Supreme, a Ratnam 302, and a Ratnam SS. They're still a few weeks away. For all I know, they may not yet have been made, or may be half-ready as I write this now.

I just won a grey NOS Parker 45 on ebay this morning, so that'll be in the mail this week.

I also ordered a bottle of Noodler's Walnut for myself...and a Pilot Metropolitan and a few samples (Noodler's Green Marine and Habenero, and Diamine Ancient Copper) for my partner, who has been getting jealous of all my exciting pen and ink adventures.

It's going to be another exciting week for mail!

I'm waiting for a pilot metropolitan, a couple of notebooks, and some ink samples from the Goulets. I'm also waiting (anxiously!) for my Pilot VP from Richard Binder. A Binderized VP has been on my list for 2 or 3 years now, and I can't even describe the excitement!

Well after a couple folks here sang the praises of the Waterman Taperite I saw one unrestored on Ebay and snagged it. My first real FP was a Waterman and I've strayed from the brand so it felt right. Looks to be an easy restore from the photos.

Are mechanical pencils allowed? If so I'm waiting for my Rotring Rapid Pro 0.7mm pencil in black. The 2B leads I ordered have already arrived...so I'm on tenterhooks.

Regards,

Paul

I've finally decided to splurge and get myself one of the new Noodler's ebonite Konrads. Decided to go with the yellow-brown (rather than the chestnut brown). USPS says I should expect it tomorrow.
