I am afraid I got +1 instead of receiving.

Current status is:

- STILL 1 from US

- STILL 1 from UK (that's the most worrying of all, it's now almost two weeks...)

- plus another from UK.

The new one will be my first Sheaffy Flat top. It is a pretty discolored jade, but I got it for a small price and I am looking forward to it.

Andre

I am getting nervous not receiving two pens from UK. It's almost three weeks now...

To try to not to think too much on it, tonight I won another Balance 5-30 Jade...

Update! Between thursday and saturday (I was away) I received all of them! old and new!

Just not to be idle I purchased here on FPN another Balance. This one has a long road to go (Canada) so I'm expecting it after the holidays...

Currently waiting for a blue Sheaffer snorkel, a gold-brown striped Sheaffer lifetime, an Esterbrook SJ black, and a red Esterbrook J.

The Sheaffers and the red Esterbrook are going to be project pens, I bought them off ebay and I'm pretty unsure what to expect. Going to make a pendemonium parts order pretty soon so I can get them all in working shape.

On another note, I'm also waiting for a free jetpens photo contest prize...I won a 12-color set of glitter pens! Probably going to give those as a gift...

Waiting for my Stipula Bellini to come back from the shop. I had to send it back to repair the clip and cap ring, both of which tarnished in different and odd ways. I'm hoping that they also replace the italic nib, which is too wide for my taste.

It's a thin plating of gold over silver, that's why it tarnished. A polishing cloth would have spared it a trip to Italy.

I think I've almost lost count for this thread, too.

Waiting on a two pens to come back from Pendemonium (tomorrow, I hope, since they didn't land yesterday), a Talentum I purchased from an FPN member in England, a pen for a friend that will in turn go to England, and three stocking-stuffer pens for friends in various States (though they will actually be New Year's gifts cuz they are coming from a distance, as well). Then there is the hopeful set from that mass of 51's David I. teased us all with which will complete a doctoral gift - finally (I went with the initial 51 suggestion after seeing David's preview... wow!). I think that's it... I think. Maybe... uh...

I love my Raden! You will NOT be disappointed by that one. The Safari is a great choice as well. Everyone here speaks very highly of the Phileas, but I just never got used to it. Great decisions!

Well for you, if you wrestle on, for in persistency lies victory, and with the morning may come the wished-for blessing. But not always; there is a struggle with defeat which some of you will have to bear, and it will be well for you if you have cultivated a cheerful equanimity. Remember, too, that sometimes 'from our desolation only does the better life begin.' Even with disaster ahead, it is better to face them with a smile, and with the head erect, than to crouch at their approach. And, if the fight is for principle and justice, even when failure seems certain, where many have failed before, cling to your ideal, and, like Childe Roland before the dark tower, set the slug-horn to your lips, blow the challenge, and calmly await the conflict.
