What pen are you waiting for in the mail?

Recommended Posts

I just purchased a Lamy 2000 from ISellpens after reading many many reviews. Having the B nib ground to a cursive italic by P Brown. I am very anxious to get it.... what will make the wait worse is that it will be shipped via the MPS (military postal service) which means it could arrive anytime between a few days up to a couple months after tuning.

Anxiously awaiting my ivory Sailor Pro Gear with a Masuyama XF nib. So excited!

Edit: almost forgot about the Pilot 78G and Serwex MB in the mail, too... Maybe I should stop for a while.

A couple do Konrads in new colors, and a Pilot Metropolitan Silver Zig-zag. Post office says it's been delivered, but so far no sign of it in my inbox. :crybaby:

Looking for an Omas Arco Verde...the one that got away.

Waiting for a S.T.Dupont Pharaoh BP, which should arrive tomorrow ( unused, from a private collection, with every little bit of Paperwork ) Can't Wait. Last week, I picked up a Franz Kafka BP & a Voltaire BP; both from MB Writers Series. The Kafka looked as if it came straight from the Factory and was still in the cellophane wrapper inside the Book Box. All the Voltaire was missing was the cellophane wrapper :vbg: I am a Fan of Mont blanc Pens, but from a completely unbiased point of view; some of the workmanship in the DuPont Pens ( especially the Pharaoh and Africa ) are way and above anything, except the Most expensive Pens costing in excess of $5000.

Does the new book: "Fountain Pens Of Japan" by Lambrou/Sunami count?

(There are many pens  in this book.)

I'm just hoping that Canada Customs will not tax the @#$%& out of it.

Just had about $400 of Akkerman inks arrive for our pen club (14 bottles). The colours on screen don't do the inks justice. And the customer service and packing are stellar.

For myself, I took a look at Greg Minuskin's website, and wound up getting a Black Sheaffer Balance XF with a #33 Flex nib

and then a few days later an all metal Redipoint with a fantastic Fleur de Lis pattern, and 14k flex nib.

So... I also bought Caliken's book on how to write Copperplate, since I now have pens I need to learn to use decently....

My pals at the Big Apple Pen Club also want to order the Akkerman ink bottles. Do you mind if I ask you how you went about ordering them?
