Very excited about a pretty little Waterman Audace, coming to me from France (yup—Monsieur L.). Especially because my Ici et Là is still being repaired (I hope!) by the Waterman Service Center, so I've been Watermanless for about two weeks now. And it's the Summer Nights pattern, which are my favorite colors—I can't wait. :clap1:

The Conklin I sent in over a month ago for a nib swap. They're putting it out today.

Still waiting on the Conklin that was supposed to ship yesterday after the nib swap

I'm STILL waiting on the dratted Conklin LE. Went in for a nib swap in October, supposedly got shipped out this week, but it's not here.

STILL waiting on the Conklin. Called again this morning. Customer service folks weren't in and I'd get a call back in an hour and a 1/2. It's late afternoon now. Sigh... First it takes 2 months for a nib swap, now it's taking 2 weeks to find out if it shipped or not... :bonk:

Looks like this will be my last Conklin LE. :glare: I can understand needing to ship a LE out for service if that particular nib section isn't being used anymore. But the failure to communicate and their cavalier attitude toward what is a mortgage payment for me is purely infuriating. I was supposed to get a tracking number LAST week. Now they can't even tell me where it is.

Oh dear! I hope it turns up soon! Communication is sometimes like gold dust...

Let us know the end of the story...

Three Conway Stewarts, two Ancoras, and a Visconti.

Got two of the Conway Stewarts. Should get at least one of the others tomorrow.

I got the Visconti. Down to waiting for the two Ancoras and the remaining Dinkie.

I'm still hoping that the pens I ordered in August and got the refund on last month will show up so I can pay the seller. I really wanted those pens, too.

Are you still waiting on them, or did you get a refund? I'm a bit slow...

A Romet Pisa Solid Black Quartz (excited about this one) that I just ordered as well as some Leonardo pen I got from eBay (by bidding on things I didn't intend to win).

Scratchy, Conklin tells me that UPS has now managed to mislay it and they're pursuing the matter :crybaby: Will update the saga Monday when I know more.

Just a plain, simple vintage Esterbrook. I discovered the joy of an Esterbrook with a 9314F Fine Relief Stub nib, and am waiting on a Grey SJ with a 9556 (But I really want to put in the 9128 Fine Flexible I have and try it out).

Just splashed out on a Pilot Custom 74 Demo from Ujuku. I'm hoping it will be the lightweight writer's pen I've been seeking.

A Retro 1951 'Postmaster' fountain pen with a broad nib. Saw it in a catalog I just received, but ordered it through my local pen shop. Hope to get it in my hands later this week!

Cheers!

Finally he said, "Well, the hours are good..."

..."So the hours are pretty good then?" [Ford] resumed.

The Vogon stared down at him as sluggish thoughts moiled around in the murky depths.

"Yeah," he said, "but now you come to mention it, most of the actual minutes are pretty lousy."

A Lamy Al-Star in Ocean Blue with an XF nib--my first fountain pen in about ten years. Should ship tomorrow, and knowing how long it takes stuff to get here from the States, it'll probably be late next week that I get it. I can't wait. :D
