A black Parker 21 with a fine nib.

This is my pen. There are many like it, but this one is mine. My pen is my best friend. It is my life as a writer. I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my pen is useless. Without my pen, I am useless.

Having only one leads to a greater chance of that one failing. The same applies to pens - the more the better  .

Waiting for a Lamy Safari with an italic 1.5 nib. I've had them in the past but the flat spots bothered me. This time I'm going to grind it to an oblique. Hopefully this will place the flat spots in the perfect place to line up the nib. I hold it with my index finger right on the ridge at about 1:00. Might make it too obliqued to function, we'll see. Someone could make money if the offered round sections for these pens, or perfectly shaped rubber stick on pieces to place onto the flat spots making it a round section.

+1

I'd love to see a round section as an option for the Safari.

Waiting eagerly for a TWSBI 540, a Noodler's Ahab and of course the wonderful free pen that comes with

some Noodler's ink. I couldn't just visit the Goulet pen site and only order ink, now could I

Hi,

Another English Duofold Senior, this one still seems to have partial chalk marks.

I'm waiting for my Monteverde Invincia Color Fusion Blue-Black with a B nib. I've heard bittersweet thing about them and hope that I don't get a bad one... :( I'm getting really excited for this pen and I think I will like the weight (at least)... The next pen on my list is a Schrade Tactical pen, also because of the weight.

A Porsche Design P3105 - actually a beautifully face lifted Pelikan Ductus - with broad nib, acquired from a fellow FPNer. Once it gets here it'll be off for a regrind, thinking a Butter Line Stub might be just the ticket!

Lamy Studio in stainless steel with M nib. Would have preferred a EF or F nib but the price was right, and hey, I can pick up an EF or F nib from to swap out later.
