This! Kind of a grail pen....

wonderful, is that a Ford's patent pen? appears to have been restored with O rings?

In case you wish to write to me, pls use ONLY email by clicking here. I do not check PMs. Thank you.

Stipula Passaporto. Wanted one for a while and pulled the trigger on a good deal. Looking forward to carrying it everywhere I go.

Yes Sir.

I think the original seals were done in cork and hard rubber. O-rings are the preferred replacement now.

One nifty fact is the metal looking piston rod is done in Nickel Silver.

I just made a trade with another FPNer, exchanging my Parker 45 flighter for his Sailor 1911m. I'm excited to try something new, although I can see this becoming a dangerously addictive hobby--too many great pens floating around. haha

I... did a bad thing. And now there's a stainless steel Rotring 600, old model with no knurling, broad nib, en route to my home via international mail.

It was expensive, but not nearly as expensive as it ought to have been, and while I overspent, I can't bring myself to feel too bad, for the second-cheapest was almost three times as expensive. Though I'd have preferred a knurled, black pen, this was still one of my grail pens, and I won't quibble over a paint job.

This leaves only two grail pens unaccounted for - a Lamy 2000, and a TWSBI Vac 700.

Me too! I opted for the titanium nib to match the body hardware. Francis is truly a mechanical genius!

I also have a custom Edison Gem on order that should be outstanding in a different way .

Me also, Lemom328i, I ordered the titanium nib to match the body hardware but also because, of the three nib types, the titanium will be the more flexible. Given its claimed ink capacity, this will be my travelling companion, particularily for those business trips where I am staying away and of course when I am away abroad on holiday. This is a limited edition pen (60 I think) and luckily for me, I have got my lucky number. :cloud9: Can't wait.

Two Lamy Safaris, one in Green Apple and one in Red (that I like to think of as Red Delicious, to go with the Green Apple) :)

Should add that I have two pens out for service, one a Parker Vac that is being restored, and the other my Montegrappa Miya, which is getting a nib resize.
