TWSBI Vac 700 Fountain Pen - Blue, Broad ... was going to wait but after seeing eveyone else getting them I jumped on the bandwagon to have some kool-aid :clap1:

I was waiting to get mine from Gouletpens but I haven't been able to wait long enough, and ended up ordering it from the Twsbi store.

A pair of Noodler's Konrads (one from Todd & Theresa Nussbaum and one from Brian & Rachel Goulet). A Hero 330 and a 336 (from the Nussbaums). A bottle of Platinum Mixfree (Nussbaums) and a bottle of Noodler's Rome is Burning (Goulets). A trio of empty Sailor bottles (Goulets). Finally, a 1951 Rhodia pad (Nussbaums). I should have the Goulet package Monday and the Nussbaum package Wednesday.

Noodler's Konrad flex "Roaring 20's Brown Tortoise". And some Knox K35 nibs.

I'm hoping the new nibs will also make my Ahab usable.

This month I'm waiting on a TWSBI Micarta (med nib).

I'll get the Vac 700 after reading a few reviews and people's initial impressions of the pen. I'm a patient one.

Nervous? No, I'm just thinking...

Thought I'd finally make a post instead of lurking all the time.

As my love for fountain pens is newly found, I still plan to order a lot!

At the moment, I'm waiting for a Parker 45 Flighter (2nd quarter 1982, made in england, M nib) that I won off eBay (First auction purchase too!).

I fear I may have overpaid at 25$ USD as I'm not quite sure of prices (Doesn't come with the converter).. however I was too excited to be reasonable.

A hint on checking prices on eBay. First search for the item. Then in the left menu under "Show Only" click "Completed Listings". That will show both sold and unsold closed aucitions, I think for the last 30 days. You might also want to click a location under Location if you only purchase domestically.

I am waiting for my 2 fine point Sheaffer's I won yesterday on eBay and my extra fine Sheaffer Prelude nib I won a few days ago.

I am also waiting for the book, Handwriting In America: A Cultural History, that I won a week ago.

That's a great little trick, will prove to be extremely useful in the future.

A quick check showed me another pen of the same seller that went for the same amount 1 week before my purchase... not bad then I suppose.
