A Wahl Doric in blue celluloid, coming from the US courtesy of a couple of friendly FPNers. (Thanks offbase and RevAaron!)

A Parker '51' flighter FP and pencil set, just purchased from PenFisher and hopefully going in the post at his end on Monday...

And if we're counting bits, I've got some Lamy nibs and a Sheaffer converter on order from TheWritingDesk, along with 3 different bottles of ink (Noodlers Red-black, PR DC Supershow blue, and PR Ebony Green. Unfortunately they were out of the PR DC Electric Blue, or that would be due as well!

And now I think I really must scale back my writing implement acquisitions for this year - I'm very tempted by a Visconti Wall Street LE which was advertised for sale recently but MUST RESIST - the credit card is smoking at the edges!

Parker 51 aerometric, navy grey. My first 51.

Excellent! I really hope you enjoy it as much as many of us already enjoy ours.

I'm currently waiting on a pale blue Sheaffer's Cadet Tip Dip thet I got for a song off of fleabay. I have an inkling that it will need its sac replaced(even if the rubber is good prefer silicon) and probably a good bath.

As for the second question, I'm not waiting patiently at all. I scared the postman a bit this morning when I saw him pull into the subdivision and was waiting for him at the end of the drive tis morning. Alas no prescious today. :(

I suppose that I shall have t wait another two days at least.

Oh golly. I've been waiting for a Platinum Honest for a while now from Kamakura Pens. It seems that Ron has run into some family issues that's a bit taxing for him :(

I'm also waiting for a Vanishing Point Blue carbonesque from an eBayer, and also an Italifine nib (0.5mm italic, XF on reverse) by Richard Binder.

Waiting for three from the 'bay: A red Esterbrook J, a very nice looking green marble 'Nova Pen', and a red striped Art Gift USA. Never heard of #'s two and three, but they were cheap, so what the heck. Still saving for a minty pre-war Conway-Stewart.

My new Sheaffer Imperial c1970, gold plate, claimed to be an italic but looks like a medium oblique from the pictures I've been sent, arrives tomorrow (*fingers crossed*). First eBay purchase so a bit of a gamble! Here's where it's from, goodness knows what kind of imperial it is (I'm guessing that it's probably the Compact II but I'm far from certain, any information would be much appreciated) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=190268870960

Best,

Possession

edit: Arrived! Bodywork is superb bar the slightest of marks under the clip end. Now I just need to find a classic converter to fit it (the piston being too long).
