A Baoer 517 in blue and a Duke 209. I'm expecting the Duke in late May but hope that the Baoer comes before I leave for Boston (school band trip).

  1. New: Diplomat Calligraphy pen, piton filler, bought of the eBay, and will determnine the model once I have the pen in hand.
  2. From repairs: MB 146 BB and MB 149 B from the service center, Dani Tio Cumlaude B also from its service center.
  3. Gift: A Hero, in red color, from a cousin in US.

Waiting for Customs is a set of vintage Parkers, silver grey Vac Max and pencil! I hope they will be on my desk by Friday!

 

Notice that the pencil is Imperial Major.....probably only one available at time of initial purchase - according to the engraved monograms on each piece. Photo by Dark Doc!

Well, that's about the coolest striped celluloid Parker set I've ever seen.

 

I guess I am waiting for my Hero 200A to arrive from China. Got an email that said it was shipped, but it's coming by the "slow boat". Hopefully it will be here before summer!

Onto my pens. I have been wanting a Platinum pen after receiving my amazing Pilot Custom 74 F last week, thinking "I have sailors, and pilots, I love them. Time for a platinum". Snagged 2 of them today along with the new Custom 74 MF (my first MF nibbed pen):

 

Platinum Maestro 3776 Black with EF stainless steel nib (I hear plat's SS nibs are really good. I'm curious about this one). I have never tried a Japanese EF, and am not expecting super smoothness, but I am hoping this will be a very fun pen :)

 

Platinum 3776 18k B nib in Black. I am very excited for this one. I will have to see how the nib compares to my 14k Sailor B, but I am wagering that it will be an amazing one nonetheless!!

 

Update: Add to that list a Pilot Custom 74 BB Nib in Bordeaux

Checked the mailbox today and found the Parker 21 Special NOS I ordered waiting for me. :D

 

Alas, it's a gift and I will have to wait until the BF returns home tonight to um..."test" it for him, and make sure it's all in working order.

 

Maybe this will get him to stop borrowing my 51 all the time. :)

Probably a bit early to genuinely start looking since it just got mailed today and has to go from the UK to the US, but I'm waiting on a Platignum 75th Anniversary. Also waiting on an iPhone 4s that got mailed last night.

Parker Big Red!!! AAARGGHHH It'll be my first Big Red. Got several vintage Duofolds, but this is one I've been waiting on. Also, a very cools Parker display cabinet http://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/11265276_glass-front-parker-pen-display-case-and-20-plus-pens. I cannot wait to get into this one...
