Hmmmm Well I can beat most of you just by sheer numbers that I'm waiting for.

I'm waiting for a Montblanc 149 to come back (again) from Montblanc service dept. In fact they have had it for longer than I have.

I'm also waiting for a silver Solitaire to come back from Montblanc service dept. with a new nib case flange that had just broken off while it wasn't being used at all.

I'm also waiting for a Cross Townsend to come back with a fixed clip.

A Parker Sonnet with a replacement new nib

A Parker 61 that Peter Twydle is converting from a capillary filler to a C/C pen.

I look out for the postman daily......... it's a strain

USPS has been awfully slow lately with international mail but looking forward to this -

Is that an Oldwin- Mora stylos? tell us more.

Yes Hari. I didn't find this particular model on their website. The ones featured on there have both barrel and caps done in silver. I will know more once I receive it. Ornate pens are not my cup of tea but I am hoping this will change my mind.

Lamy Safari Charcoal EF (gonna switch it to an F or M), Lamy Vista F (to take my Nexx' job - Green slush.), and a spare chrome M (which is actually my favorite, and I'm running low on those.)

I think the new Charcoal (my fourth) is going to get Noodler's Air Corp Blue Black (My first Noodler's ink...Then I lost interest in it for a few years, and now I find myself looking back when I realized it's good for higher-quality lined paper.) until I get another glossy Black... And then my 4th Charcoal will probably get Bad Black Mocassin.

What I am waiting for is not a fountain pen, but two dip pens.

A blackwell wooden oblique holder from Johnnealbooks.com

and a tiny Edward Todd ringtop dip pen / pencil combination from Vintagepens.com.

I just can't wait!!! :bonk:

A Webster off eBay. Who knows if it will be working condition, but it'll be fun to tinker!

:) Well I started reading this thread to see if anyone has already ordered and received, what I'm guessing is a new model from Sailor, the pen I purchased on EBay end of last week. The listing:

NEW 2012 Revolution Series Sailor Reguls Gleaming Pebble Black Fountain Pen

You can view the listing, and pictures, here:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/170814916949?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

This will be my first Sailor pen, and from what others have written about Sailor pens I feel confident that I will be truly pleased with this pen as and introduction to this manufaturer. Not sure how many days I'll be waiting for it to arrive, seller notified me it was ship 4/10/12---so perhaps 2 weeks?

I may start a new thread to let others know more about this particular pen line, unless I find one already running.

Lou

I am curious about this series, but am not ready to try them because of the steel nibs. 75 dollars is a heck of a lot for that pen... I just snagged a brand new Pilot Custom 74 with a 14k MF nib for less than that. However, if you're happy with it, then no worries!!

Onto my pens. I have been wanting a Platinum pen after receiving my amazing Pilot Custom 74 F last week, thinking "I have sailors, and pilots, I love them. Time for a platinum". Snagged 2 of them today along with the new Custom 74 MF (my first MF nibbed pen):

Platinum Maestro 3776 Black with EF stainless steel nib (I hear plat's SS nibs are really good. I'm curious about this one). I have never tried a Japanese EF, and am not expecting super smoothness, but I am hoping this will be a very fun pen :)

Platinum 3776 18k B nib in Black. I am very excited for this one. I will have to see how the nib compares to my 14k Sailor B, but I am wagering that it will be an amazing one nonetheless!!

I'm waiting for a montegrappa reminiscence. I'm forgetting I bought it so that when it arrives it will be a bigger surprise. :vbg:

You can't always get what you want, but if you try sometime, you may just find you get what you need
