It's here! A quick snap of the Prelude in its NOS glory.

A very Sith-like pen. Congrats.

I am waiting on a Pilot Namiki Custom 742 with a Su nib.

Thank you. What's an Su nib?

That is a great looking pen. I have to say...I'm a little jealous.

As you should be! laugh.gif Edit: I just read that your fiancée is sending you a Sheaffer. Congrats! Good woman!

I swiped mine on eBay UK for 27 GBP (around 40 USD) NOS and shipped. The Texas Pen Company is the only place I could find it (54 USD). Mauricio of Vintage Pens has some other finishes in stock (55 USD). Gunmetal with Black Anodized trim is my runner-up. Both sell them NOS at reasonable prices, considering they retailed at 75 USD. No affiliation.

Sorry about the (bleep) lighting in the photos.

Pilot 78G. Tuesday I will have them notworthy1.gif

They've arrived and I can not say how satisfied I am. I ordered the F, M and B nib models and I like them all. I recently purchased two Pelikans, but the Pilots are higher in my personal top. I found my new favorite fountain pens. And I never could imagine that on this cost I will get something like that.

:) Well I started reading this thread to see if anyone has already ordered and received, what I'm guessing is a new model from Sailor, the pen I purchased on EBay end of last week. The listing:

NEW 2012 Revolution Series Sailor Reguls Gleaming Pebble Black Fountain Pen

You can view the listing, and pictures, here:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/170814916949?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

This will be my first Sailor pen, and from what others have written about Sailor pens I feel confident that I will be truly pleased with this pen as and introduction to this manufaturer. Not sure how many days I'll be waiting for it to arrive, seller notified me it was ship 4/10/12---so perhaps 2 weeks?

I may start a new thread to let others know more about this particular pen line, unless I find one already running.

Lou

After 6 months of waiting for a local shop to get off their duff and bring in the pen we ordered for my birthday last year, I got fed up and ordered it from an out of town shop.

Today I finally received my black Online Vision classic with M nib.

I got my second Pel about a month ago, M800 with BI nib, and I was sure I was satisfied, but my third Pel, and first Pel M1000 is sitting under my desk in the shipping box and I should not open it until I finish my paperwork and go home.

(The first one was a M400 with g\p nib, that John Mottishaw fixed with a CI proper nib at the 2011 LA pen show)

Cheers,

Waiting for Customs is a set of vintage Parkers, silver grey Vac Max and pencil! I hope they will be on my desk by Friday!

Notice that the pencil is Imperial Major.....probably only one available at time of initial purchase - according to the engraved monograms on each piece. Photo by Dark Doc!

I'm waiting for a Delta Windows Four Seasons LE Winter button filler. My wife has the set of four on her desk and I found a Winter at a good price, so this one is all mine . . .

These are outstanding pens that I find very comfortable in the hand and beautifully made. Can't wait.
