I find the Hero 360 quite interesting. I have never seen one, nor have I seen a Parker 180, from which it is derived, though I have read about them and been curious to try. Do you write at a higher angle with those pens? If you ever come to the Ottawa pen posse would you bring one along. I am sure that most members are curious and would like to try one. The clip on the Baoer 517 reminds me of the old Canadian Eclipse and some of the Sheaffers of the 1950s. Halden, one of the original members of the Ottawa pen posse wrote a very nice review of it.

Pendleton Brown just e-mailed me that 2 pens I sent to him are on their way home: A Graf von Faber Castell Indigo Guilloche and a Krone Stiletto. He ground the GvFC from broad to stub and re-sacced the Krone.

I am waiting for two pens to be delivered. The first pen that is due any day from Fed Ex is my TWSBI Micarta. The second pen that I just bought yesterday from winedoc, is a Danitrio and I do not know at this point how it is being shipped, but the wait is killing me for This pen!

I am waiting for two Chinese Pens. One NOS 1980's Hero 330 from the UK and a Bookworm 675 from China. Both came to under $16 combined including shipping!!! I won the Bookworm for 98 cents!

I finally got around to ordering my lamy 2000 from isellpens.

I don't know why but of all the pens that I have bought and had shipped which include: Homo Sapiens, LE Wall Street, Pelikan M1000, Pelikan M800 IB, and many others that cost many times more than the 2000, this has been the worst wait for me so far.

 

I am starting to write a new novel and the 2000 seems like the perfect everyday, long writing sessions pen and I literally cannot wait to get it! I know once I get it in medium I will end up ordering one in fine as well!

I am waiting for a pair of Falcons, one in steel and the other bronze. I am planning to write a review of them because I have not seen a serious review anywhere. I am also waiting for a Waterman of some sort. I have no idea what it is, or what it is like, except that my brother, who knows nothing about pens, says it is gorgeous, beautiful etc. The only way he would recognize a beautiful pen is by looking at the things I have sent him and his family to encourage the kids to learn to write nice.

That nine-dollar Jinhao MB 149 wannabe. Kinda sorry I ordered it, because when it arrives I'm gonna have to fill it and play around writing with it, and if it's stinky, I'll have to get on it with wetordry 1000 and brown grocery bag paper until it behaves itself. And then what'll I have?

Right. A nine-dollar pen that writes. So what else is new?

I won a vintage 1926 Duofold pair on e-Bay last Tuesday, but the seller doesn't seem to be rushing to ship it :bonk:

 

Though on e-Bay he offers to ship one working day after payment is settled, he has replied to my messages by saying my package requires special handling by him because I've chosen registered mail and that means a trip to the post-office.
