What pen are you waiting for in the mail?

Today, just two months since I became an FPN member, my very first fountain pen I had ever ordered based on the knowledge of fountain pens and nibs I have acquired here at FPN since January 3RD, arrived in the mail to me, my Stipula Voyage Orient Express Limited Edition fountain pen with a titanium flex, T-Flex nib that commemorates the most famous train in the whole world, the English Orient Express along with commemorating travel in general and the award winning British travel writer, Bruce Chatwin. Only 500 limited edition Stipula Orient Express fountain pens were made and distributed worldwide. The pictures I'd seen of it on the internet do no justice to it at all, being, as it is, a much warmer and richer, weightier and well balanced fountain pen, both posted and unposted, than I had imagined! It's gorgeous in person and a quality pen through and through. Now I am in love!

Last week my first arrived – a Hero 300. In the mail now are a Regal Andrews, a Jinhao X450 and a Jinhao 159.

 

I am looking at a demonstrator next. Probably a Noodler’s Ahab or TWSBI 540.

Unfortunately, I am waiting for my replacement Visconti HS, as I had to return my last one 3 days after I bought it. Hoping for a better pen this time around.

Waiting for my Pelikan M100 and Rotring Freeway to come back from getting "Binderized" ............... . I have a very long wait ahead of me.

 

But that's OK! These will be my first professionally smoothed, and I suspect it will be worth it.

Hi,

I ordered a Pelikan M640 Sahara Limited ed. appx 3 weeks ago from montgomerystationary. I am very Very VERY impatient! Marked as shipped round feb 23, so I figure it must be stuck in customs. Mail from US to Norway usually takes some time. And, I _almost_ had a Pelikan M600 White tortois coming, but managed to let it go. I figured one of this kind of pen in the mail is enough. But it is very frustratin. It actually huuuuurts........
