What pen are you waiting for in the mail?

Was waiting for a Conklin Endura (cursive italic nib, and a better feed), and a no name wood pen (newly ground stub nib) to return from Michael Masuyama's pen repair. They arrived yesterday (Friday). Funny - i thought "signature confirmation" meant I would have to SIGN for them? But no, they simply ended up in my mailbox.

A Sheaffer VFM in matte orange (couldn't find many reviews on this one, so I'm taking a bit of a chance with it) with a medium nib, and a Pelikan Pelikano in pink (apparently, I want my pens to look like candy), also with a medium nib. :D

I'm writing an online serial thing. It's urban fantasy. And I have no idea how long it's going to run for.

Today Bryant Greer at Pentime.com is mailing me my first fountain pen, an Italian Stipula Voyage Orient Express, numbered, Limited Edition fountain pen with a titanium flex, T-Flex nib. $15.00 for domestic shipping, handling and insurance that Bry charged me is reasonable. You can see not my pen, but the T-Flex nib in action at this link,

.

The pen commemorates the most famous train in the world, the Orient Express and, as well, award winning travel writer, Bruce Chatwin who in 1977 wrote the book, "In Patagonia" for which he won the Hawthornden Prize and the E. M. Forster (Edward Morgan Forster) Award amid controversy. Following its' publication, people from the area who had been fictionally characterized in his book came forward and confirmed that events, conversations and characters in "In Patagonia" had been fictionalized, saying that they knew because they were them. Bruce Chatwin's biographer, Nicholas Shakespeare in defending Chatwin said, ""He tells not a half-truth but a truth and a half."

Along with my pen, I am awaiting in the mail a used, in like new condition, out of print, hardcover copy of Bruce Chatwin's controversial travel book, "In Patagonia".

I am awainting a Pilot Custom 823 black with medium nib, directly coming from Japan :cloud9:

And for my Pilot Custom 823 amber which recently came from Japan to Germany and is now on the way to the German Pilot service point, from which it will be sent to France (!) for exchanging the fine nib to a medium sized.

Can any service be more comlicated like this?

Waiting for a TWSBI - actually 2. One for my girlfriend (F), one for me (1,1 mm stub). Can hardly wait to try them out!

Also waiting for a Nakaya Portable Cigar in aka-tamenuri with a two-tone nib (my first) and a cuteee goldfish converter. This one has arrived in my country already so it can't be much longer. :clap1:

Not strictly pens, but I also ordered some long silk pen pouches from Andy's Pens because I need one for my Genkai. My leather pouches clearly won't fit. :D

It's not every day that you get a fountain pen for paying only $2.50 shipping! But that's what's happened to me and all for only following the Fountain Pen Revolution page on Facebook. They seem a really American family who are selling Indian fountain pens in India.

indeed, waiting on my free eyedropper pen and a beater Pilot Custom 74 from Indonesia..

I opened a box of cheerios and planted them. I thought they were doughnut seeds. They didn't sprout :( (joke of the week)
