Thanks to Ghost Plane (GP suggested I inquire) and Bryant at Pentime . . .

I'm eagerly awaiting the arrival of Autumn and Winter Delta Windows LE button fillers, medium nibs on both. They will soon join the Spring and Summer pens that my wife has appropriated for her daily use. Now we'll have two that I can use on a regular basis. I do prefer the Rhodium trim on the Spring and Summer pens but I won't complain much! Writing with these pens is better than effortless.

I have a black Ahab along with a bottle of Purple Heart and a four pack of Ahab O rings on their way to me from the Goulets. I ordered at 12:15 or so. They shipped at 2 PM or so. If the USPS is as Johnny on the spot as the Goulets are, I should have the shipment tomorrow. If not, Friday seems a lock.

(along with some ink)

Pelikan M400 White Tortoise F

Very excited for both of these, I've been looking forward to getting my first VP so this will be great for note taking.

Arriving tomorrow "before 4 p.m." via Fedex: A Bossert & Erhard Dimension 4 in Mandarine (orange). It is my second B & E: I have the Dimension 4 in light blue.

For those of you unfamiliar with B & E, this Sonnet-sized pen has a sterling silver guilloche barrel and cap overlaid with a translucent enamel. The section, clip and trim are also sterling. The nib is a bi-color 18K.

I have posted a link to some of Winedoc's very nice 2005 photos of the yellow version. Although the photographs can't do justice to the depth of the enamel-over-guilloche, the last in Kevin's series comes darn close!
