My recently acquired MB 149 from the MB Customer Service Center in Ft Worth. It's being restored; bad section threading.

I've recently gone a little crazy so,

now I'm waiting on a MB 144 should be

here tomorrow (maybe not till Monday).

In addition to anxiously wanting to

check it all out and make sure it works

as represented, I'll want to see if I can

figure out how old it is.

I'm also waiting on a new Carene Sea Black

(gloss) fine NIB. I know it will be at

least a week or more, as it comes from Europe.

In the meantime, I'm the high bidder on

an almost perfect black and gold Parker 51.

That will keep me occupied while I wait on the Carene.

Okay, just arrived home and got my Noodler's Ahab Flex Nib PFFP Clear Demonstrator along with a 90ml bottle of Noodler's Baystate Blue Ink.

Anyone else notice that the pen smells, like some kind of "cheese"?

See with what large letters I have written you with my own hand. GaVIxi

Montegrappa Parola.

Ordered it OCTOBER 24th, 2011 from FPH.

They notified me right away that it was on backorder, was expected to ship in a few weeks.

They have not contacted me since.

I called a few weeks before Christmas, and was told it wasn't in yet. I called last week and left a message which they never answered. I just sent them an email.

Grrrrr. >:(

Ahab in any colour :-)

But first, PayPal to do a deposit so I can get payment made - I changed countries so I had to open a new account with PayPal and although they said they made the deposit on 4 Jan, it is still not showing in my account :-(

Waiting for a vintage Hungarian made pen. Bought it on Ebay for $1, and $3 shipping. Not much info so its a grab bag special or "pig-in-a-poke"

These are the fun ones to wait for --not knowing what I am really going to get. Sometimes a gem, some times junk, most time somewhere inbetween.

Yard-o-Led Viceroy Grand Victorian with my initials monogrammed on it, and a pocket Viceroy with Barley finish.

Fine nib on the Grand and medium on the pocket.

I think of them when I wake up, and look out the window at work for the FedEx guy.

Then I have to find inks they like. Looking forward to that process!

I am waiting for my new Pelikan Sahara (with medium nib), and I'm trying hard not to obsessively follow its tracking number as it makes it way to me...

I can handle the wait.

I CAN handle the wait.

Sheesh. It's not like I don't have other pens to use in the meantime!

The TWSBI 540 is one of the next pens on my list, too! Alas, there's NO stopping this magnificent obsession.
