Now I'm waiting for a Carene with a stub nib from Levertowski. My wonderful husband saw me looking at a photograph of one in Amber and said "that's nice, why don't you buy it?". Well I didn't need telling twice

Just got to wait for the Royal Mail to deliver it, so I'll be waiting for around four weeks ...

It's all down to Ghostplane and others telling us how nice these pens are ...

Waiting anxiously for three today:

- from Germany, a NOS Rotring 900 M in a brilliant finish, made an Ebay offer to jcdesignkunst that they accepted;

- from Japan, a daffodil-yellow Sailor Sapporo Mini-size F, from engeika via Ebay, my first victorious auction in years;

- from North Carolina, a red Kaweco Ice Sport EF, accompanied by a jar of silicone grease, a syringe and a bottle of Waterman FL Blue. From Goulet.

I'm coming off a bloc of monochromatic pens - just noticed the variety of color above. Looking forward to reviewing each.

Finally snagged myself a Sheaffer Balance, a lovely black and pearl with dynamite restoration. I can't wait for this one!

At this point i am probably done. I have more than enough. Unless one or two of them poop out - i have no further need for anymore FP's. I only have 2 hands and I only write right-handed, so... not like an octopus or people that smoke 5 cigarettes at the same time for folly.

Was waiting for a gold or gold coloured Dunhill FP. Mail arrived this morning; recorded delivery and to sign for. Yet the envelope had been sliced open and the pen was missing.

This is appalling. Is it a testament to the Royal Mail? Does this happen frequently in the UK? It puts me in fear of items I am waiting to be delivered to my family in the UK.

Waiting for my very first flex- a bumble bee Noodler's flex from the Goulets. They sent it out in record time, but my guess is that it is stuck in customs.

Ref. the comment above about the postal service - I am waiting for a Sheaffer 300 that was allegedly posted 19 (nineteen) days ago by a major company that shall remain nameless, as they admitted they didn't know whether it had been sent recorded or not. I've had orders from Hong Kong arrive much quicker!
