Sailor 1911 in matte black with Naginata Togi nib in medium fine... my first Sailor. The descriptions I read about the nib here in this forum and on Sailor's website itself sounded just too tempting

In yet another bad decision for my finances, but a good one for my pen collection, I picked up a 1946 Parker Vac Major in Laminated Black (fine nib) off of the 'Bay. According to the listing, the pen has been 100% restored, diaphram replaced, and has no visible wear indicators on the pen. I'll see when it gets here. Either way, compared to the other listings, I think I basically got a heck of a deal.

I ordered a Sailor 1911 Mid Size, Black with GT, Music Nib frm Singapore on 7th July 2011. The package was lost, and I had all but given up hope when lo and behold I get a message from the post office that it has been found and that I could come and pick it up, today exactly three months to the date of postage I finally got my first Sailor.
