What pen are you waiting for in the mail?

I have been waiting for a Montblanc 146 all week and it arrived today. It came with a bottle of Royal Blue which I used to fill the pen and I have since been writing in my Moleskine journal. What a great day!

A rOtring Surf fountain in yellow, and 2 rOtring Freeway BPs, one in matte black, the other matte blue - and of course all the extras to go with them......

Parker medium blue gel refills, converter for the Surf, and of course a couple of Rosetta Leather pen sleeves to protect the goodies...... and a Rotring TIKKY clear vinyl pouch to hold it all.

At least 2 Parker Vacumatics and a 51.

For your first pen, you should buy a Pelikan m200 or a TWSBI 540.

For vintage, get a Parker Vacumatic or a 51.

Once you go Vac, you never go back.

Yes, I've been drinking.

Two new Lamy Safaris, one grey w/black clip and one white, both M nibs. My fourth and fifth Safari respectively...I think I might be a budding Lamy addict.

A Rotring Esprit Telescopic Fountain Pen in Electric Blue Finish. When, I first saw this pen, I was like... I want this and there went my order. It has a telescopic mechanism to make the pen small enough to fit in any pocket. Amazing design.

All left is the waiting...

Sigh !!

I fear that both my Eversharp Symphony 917 and 713 ( both NOS with extrafine and fine flexible nibs ) are hopelessly lost in the mail.

It has been more than 3 weeks since Teri sent them but alas..nothing so far.

The worst bit..he does not have anymore NOS forthcoming.

I am thoroughly disappointed.

The tortoise Pelikan 400NN shown here.

This place is dangerous for me. I haven't been on the forum in nearly a year, check in and buy another pen!

Seriously, it is a pen I have long wanted to own again. I bought one back in January 2003, and had to sell less than a week later to pay unexpected medical bills.

I got one to replace it back in 2007, but the piston seized within two weeks and I had to return it. Hoping this one stays in the fold longer than the other two.

The Symphony's from Eversharp are very nice set of pens. They flex very well and anybody who loves to write with a flexible nib will definitely like them. I myself want one of these, maybe, next month or so.

Sad to read about your misplaced post. Its very disappointing indeed!

Waiting for a TSWBI 540 and my first bottled ink, Diamine Twilight. Hope it meets up with my expectations. It's gotten a lot of good press here.

When you have pen and ink, every problem needs a piece of paper.

Hero 100 - I bidded $20 and lost, but got a second chance offer. I could not resist, since Hero 100 is my favourite pen and all my Hero's are broken. But I think this is the last pen I bought - this is what I think anyway.
