Pilot Prera, ivory with a medium nib. Does anyone else find themselves thinking about what ink they're going to put in a new pen before they even get it? I'm leaning towards the sample of Montegrappa Bordeaux that was in last month's Ink Drop.

Two pens are coming:

Edison Collier in blue/gold striateD acrylic

Pelikan M1000 in black/green

Not really on topic, but I have a TC-1 too - probably the best point-and-shoot camera ever made!

Too many pens; too little writing.

I'm waiting for more Esterbrooks and more renew-point nibs. Je suis tombé amoureux. I'm waiting for 2 J's, one in blue, one in red. I'm waiting for a couple of 9556's to come in the mail, since my 2550 nib has deteriorated from a fine to a medium-broad. Hahaha. The lack of hard-metal tipping really plays a part in nib deterioration. I've used that 2550 nib for essays and papers, and now the nib has broadened. :crybaby:

Waiting patiently for those.. Hopefully they come in the mail before Apple releases the iPhone 5. :roflmho:

I finally decided to order a Pilot 78G for myself. But, the problem all began when I went to the web site to order. At first I couldn't decide between the red and the green. Then, I couldn't decide between the B and M nibs. So, what started out as an order for one pen quickly grew. I am now anxiously waiting for 4 Pilot 78G's in the mail. I am starting to think I have a problem.

I'm waiting for a black & gold Sailor 1911 mid-size, with a music nib, re-ground to a 0.80 mm stub.

This will be my first custom nib.

Just can't wait for it to arrive.

Hope too, that the Canada Customs leaves the package alone.

Cheers: tinta
