I'm waiting for a gray Esterbrook with a Falcon flexible nib. I'm not sure I know what to do with a Falcon flexible nib, but I'm going to have one anyway. :bunny01:

Just three chinese cheapies, apparently lost somewhere  in italian custom offices.

And now two nice german piston filler (see https://www.fountainpennetwork.com/forum/in...mp;hl=classico)

Hoping they arrive before the chineses...

A Jinhao and a Duke from ebay.

I know they're not too prestigious, but since I have so few pens so far, I'm still excited. :D

Parker Vector Pink

Papermate Fountain Mate

Pilot Knight

All M nibs which is unusual for me but, I plan on popping the XF nib out of my Pilot Penmanship and popping that into the Knight. As for the other two, I'll see if I can have someone else grind them down.

Writing instruments of the moment:

  • Pilot Prera Fountain Pen in Vivid Pink XF (Levenger ink, Pinkly).
  • Uniball α-Gel Slim Pencil in Pink (0.3mm leads).
  • Pilot 742 Fountain Pen in Black with Falcon (flex) Nib, (Pilot ink, Black).
  • Nikko G Nib in the penholder.

Bexley Owner's Club 2008 from Bryant!

I know the design has some contention behind it, but everything about it comes together just right for me - and I love the laser-etched pattern sections!

I've found myself continuously flicking back to the pictures while I SHOULD have been working yesterday...

Here are all of the things I'm really looking forward to:

-Bexley Poseidon design: This is like an old Pelikan, and I've never had a Classically styled pen (other than a whole Mt. Range of MB's).

-Silver Material: I've never had a metal fountain pen before.

-Overlay/laser etch: I'm young enough to like it.

-Design: I'm currently writing a paper for a well-known scientific journal about bone remodeling, and with just a little stretch of my imagination, those little "organic" squiggles look like cortical bone subunits (called osteons). I can even spot the resorption cavities and Haversian canals! Look it up, I dare you!

-Stub nib: I've done some calligraphy, and actually use them for fast writing, and while I don't expect calligraphy from the stub, I'm greatly looking forward to it!

-American made: First American-made pen. I've mostly been obsessed over German and Italian pens.

What I'm NOT looking forward to:

-Worrying that something might happen to my baby in the mail!

I'll take an Aurora, please. Aurora black.
