Not quite in these illustrious leagues, but I am waiting on a red/black Noodlers flex pen.

Since I discovered flex dip pen nibs I wanted a flex fountain pen, just as Noodlers sold out every where.

A blue marbled Waterman Phileas medium nib (also ordered Waterman 'Florida Blue' ink to match) :) Planning on using this pen as my regular for uni.

I own the exact same pen for 12 years now - it is a beauty! Got it when I lived in Florida, and used it to write home and to my then-GF.

Nice pen, and still kept in my pen case.

I'm waiting on three rather spiffy recent purchases:

Delta Dolce Vita Oro Piston - left the US on April 9, ARRIVED in Israel on the 20th, but apperantly it takes longer for a package to get from Tel Aviv Airport to my Hometown (a matter of 30 minute drive) than it takes it to get from the US to Israel...

Delta Windows LE Winter - this is supposed to be one great looking pen, and I've been trying to get my hands on one for a reasonable price via eBay - finally managed to do so ($300 incl. Shipping) - was shipped on the 19th, so it should get to Israel in the very near future, and arrive at my post office later in the millenium.

Visconti Wall Street Green LE - I've been wanting to get me a Wall Street for some time now - ever since I saw the fascinating model, but the regular edition goes here for NIS 1,600 (approx. $450), and the LEs go for ~NIS 2,500 ($700), and I got some other, less expensice stuff. I finally won it in an eBay auction - for a very reasonable price (I think it was $270 incl. s&h). left the US of A on the 21st, so probably be here in 2 weeks or so...

Why won't the post office people speed things up a bit???

My very last pen. Finishing my 1950s 14# series, a really fabulous MB 144 from the excellent Max Scharge. Quite hard to get hold of these, especially in this condition (pictures as soon as I am able).

At long last I have finished buying and I can concentrate on using. I know, I know, you doubters you... I've got what I wanted and, other than replacements for anything broken or lost, my buying lust/mainia is, at long last, satisfied. Now the learning begins.

Waiting and waiting for a Sailor Demonstrator Full size F-Nib with silver trim + nib and a Pelikan M800 Demonstrator with Stub M Nib. Can't wait to get those, cause the Pelikan M800 is just awesome and the Sailor is what i always wanted to try ;).

And yes i am a bit guilty buying this pens because they are way tooooooooo expensive for the work they do but .... they look so awesome and should write like a dream ;). But the guilt somehow disappear when i am thinking of investing some money into FP. I Can sell them anyday to get the money back :P

A 1939 Vacumatic Maxima set in golden pearl. The pen has a star clip and the pencil is a push-repeater, both only produced for a short time in '39. (Thanks Bill!)

Ok, I actually *am* waiting for...

  • A Sheaffer Imperial II Deluxe, coming from Peyton Street Pens - it's a replacement, as the first one had a malfunctioning bladder (Touchdown)
  • A Sheaffer 444X, after having some "Pendle-tuning" done to the nib
  • A shot in the dark: a Jinhao "Libai" from eBay. With shipping it was under $30, and I thought it would be fun to get an international order. If it isn't a killer pen, I won't have to worry about it.

And, honestly, after these all show up, I'm taking a break! I joined FPN just a few weeks ago, and I've gone from 2 pens (well, 3), to about 16 (allowing for 4 Preppys that became ED pens to test inks). It's been fun, but I have to calm it down a bit...

A 1947 Parker '51' Demi Vac, black with a fine nib. Turns out that these are short enough to fit perfectly in all those annoyingly-shallow shirt pockets that I have.
