Pelikan m205 blue demo in with EF. I ordered it on Sunday and it's taking far too long to get here :P

For your first pen, you should buy a Pelikan m200 or a TWSBI 540.

For vintage, get a Parker Vacumatic or a 51.

Once you go Vac, you never go back.

Yes, I've been drinking.

I'm waiting for two budget-conscious pens, a Pelikan Style and a Pilot Prera in ivory. I told my other half about the first one, but not the second. Anyone have pen buying guilt?

Attempting to expand my horizons while watching the bottom line, I'm waiting for two Sheaffer NOS pens from Teri at Peyton Street Pens: a 444X and an Imperial II Deluxe.

And I hold the entire Fountain Pen Network responsible for these transgressions. :gaah:

Anyone have pen buying guilt?

Absolutely! I experience it acutely after I order a pen and wait for it to be shipped. Once I receive the tracking number, it vanishes! Now, I am waiting for a Pilot Murex which I won in an eBay auction and a Parker Duofold which I bought from one of our FPN'ers in London.

Sailor Trident on the way from Tokyo.

It's stainless with a deep red (burgundy?) section. I've heard about these things and couldn't resist the urge to try one out.

I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of a Pilot Custom 74 Demonstrator in clear with a medium nib. I am freakout out! This is my first non-Lamy fp purchase!

Got a 74 with a B nib for my birthday the end of March. You have every right to freakout as

you are really in for a treat!
