Currently waiting for a vintage dome-top cap for my blue M200. From Singapore. If you've been to my thread in the pen-making forum, you know that I just got the parts for (and completed) my second penbashing project.

I'm waiting for a Pelikan M205 Clear Blue Demonstrator body. Not sure what's taking so long. I placed the order almost an hour ago and it still isn't here. :)

During a recent trip to Germany, I purchased a new Fine gold-plated nib for my 1990ish M200, since most of the plating had worn off the existing nib (I bought the pen used, and that's how it was when I got it). I polished the remaining plating off, leaving me with a nice polished steel Medium nib looking for a home. I could have purchased an M205 Clear Blue Demonstrator for about $102 at the store where I bought the nib, but realized I could buy just the pen body to go with my left over nib from Richard Binder for $58, and use the difference to also get a BelOMO 20x loupe and a pair of nylon pliers.

Just got it an hour ago. An Aurora Ipsilon in red for my office. I have learned the hard way that I cannot leave fountain pens in my cubicle. Having lost about $1,000 worth of pens due to several thefts in the past 6 years, I needed a relatively inexpensive one that, if I left on my desk and forgot to take home, wouldn't make me want to put my head in the oven.

Just received a TWSBI 530 (clear, M nib) and I'm on my first fill (Noodler's Navy). I'm super impressed with this pen. The heft and overall quality is absurd for the price, IMO. It writes perfectly, right out of the box, with a nice generous and wet line.

My only minor gripe is the tightness of the threads. I hope they loosen up a bit over time. One thing's for sure -- the cap won't accidentally spin off. When it's on, it's definitely on.

Posting is also a pain, as the cap doesn't fit over the piston very well. But I don't post anyway, so I don't care about that. Overall, this pen is a truly exceptional value.

I have 1) 1980s N.O.S. wine-colored, lacquered Platinum "Riviera" and 2) --from FP Writing-- a lovely cursive nib, porcelain fountain pen with cherry blossoms painted on it.

Currently practicing slow breathing for stress relief--until the pens get here!

My pens in transition are neither fancy nor expensive but I eagerly await their arrival nevertheless <3 These are: Pentel Pocket Brush Pen and a Pilot Plumix, both from Jetpens

Since I'm on the other side of the world, shipping time for me is 2-3 weeks. Yes, I learnt to be patient

Well, I was waiting, but it arrived twenty minutes ago! A 1946 Conway Stewart 759 with a flexible medium nib. Flushed with clean water, and now loaded with Diamine Green-Black. May take me a while to get used to the wet flexible M nib after using mostly F/XF, but loving it so far!
