That's a very good italic pen; mine has been a smooth writer from day one. I've got a couple of the Rotring ArtPens (1.1mm and 1.9mm) and don't find them to be as smooth.

 

Today I'm waiting for a Pilot 78G, F nib.

Just got word from Italy via Kenro, my MG Strad will be returning in about two weeks! It's been gone for repair since December. Had to go through the eval process in NY first, and then sent to Italy for actual fixing. Pins and needles......
