Thanks. I was lucky with the auction. Can't wait to handle it between fingers.

Waiting for my first Pen purchase in 2011, a Montblanc 146 Bordeaux. Also the first pen since I joined FPN.

If you're the winning bidder on that auction, congrats! I'd say that was a great price for the 146R, and a great OB nib.

I'm waiting on a Montegrappa Nerouno Linea red gold ExFine nib. (My first pen purchase of 2011)

My first time with a Montegrappa but I just love the style of the pen.

How long can I be patient awaiting its arrival?

Just ordered a Lamy 2000 Fine this morning. I spent weeks trying to decide between a Parker 51, Pelikan M205, and the Lamy. I finally decided that I'll probably end up with all three sooner or later, so I decided to start with the Lamy.

I'm waiting for a Parker 51 aero that I snagged for a good BIN price. The pics were terrible, but the seller indicated that the pen and cap were both in decent shape--no bite marks or dents. We'll see about the nib....

After a year of frustration bidding on Sheaffer Tuck-aways on ebay I won a clipless, marine green striated Tucky. It was sold 'as is' because the seller said it looked okay but he didn't know anything about fountain pens. It wasn't even labeled as a Tuck-away. It arrived the end of last week. It is flawless, fills nicely and writes well. :vbg:

At the same time I won a Retro 51 Ranger in Ivory and according to the seller it was an event signature pen used but once. It arrived on Saturday but didn't fit into my post office box so I have to wait until tomorrow because today is a holiday.

I received an email from classic pens that my new Aurora Optima with a fine stub is "ready to come home". What a wonderful email to receive. I'm also waiting on a new Pilot VP with a medium nib from Richard Binder. Two great pens from two great nibmeisters. Ive had a love hate relationship with the VP for a few years now, but I recently changed my pen grip and am hoping to finally feel comfortable with the VP.

I gave my sister one of my Lamy's, so that was a good excuse to buy a pen. embarrassed_smile.gif

Waiting for a Cross Townsend and a Pelikan m400 with an italic nib.

A vintage English Parker 51, 14k medium nib. Can't wait to treat it to a drink of Parker Quink blue ink and take it for a spin on some decent Clairefontaine Triomphe paper.
