A 1940's vintage MB 234 1/2 is on its way from Germany after being restored by the incredible Max of maxpens.de. After buying a vintage 136 from Max, I am very excited about getting this new pen as well. I bought the 234 1/2 off a gentleman in the UK who received it as a bequest from his father's (or grandfather's) estate. I had the gentlemen ship it directly to Max for restoration. Pictures of before and after are below.

MB Hemingway FP. In 1996, I had the opportunity to pick up both the BP and the FP. Bought the BP, passed on the FP and regretted it ever since. I consider it 15-year wrong that has finally been corrected. As an added "bonus" the Hemingway is used (though mint) with no box or papers. I don't have to fight the temptation to "preserve" the pen and can ink it up and get writing upon delivery.

Agatha Christie is on her way in a parcel Force van - she has left Inverness. I hope the old girl is wearing as well as she looks in the photos. She's in for no rest when she gets here, I can tell you!!

2 Jinhao fountain pens (X450 and 750) and a Parker vacumatic in striped blue - can't wait to see it in person, it looks so lovely on the pictures!

I wasn't waiting for anything at all, but at 11:30 my wife waltzed in and presented me with a NOS marbled green Waterman Phileas B that apparently she had been waiting for. So there: after giving Phileases to half a dozen people, I finally have one myself. [various jubilant noises] I am going to celebrate now by watching a video of the Mnozil Brass.

When you're good at it, it's really miserable.

I am now waiting a blue Fine point Sheaffer Imperial Deluxe II, and a Hero 100 (to replace the one I lost...).

Thinking about ordering one of those colorful and beautiful Pilot Prera clear body pens from Jetpens...

I'm waiting on a Sheaffer Targa 1005 (gold plated, fluted pattern) with a factory oblique nib.

I was hoping it would show up this morning, but no such luck. -_-

I already got a chrome one a few days ago, they should make a nice set together.

A red Esterbrook LJ (with a 9550 needlepoint nib) to go with my green SJ/2668 meduim and blue J/3556 fine.

With luck it will be arriving on this side of the Atlantic reasonably soon.

I was on isellpens.com yesterday, and they had a few Wing Sung pens on special for $2. I decided to try them. I will post a review once I see how they perform. I also was on the hunt for a good EF, so I picked up a Jinhao 800 Accountant. Hopefully they all work out ok. I figured they would either be good cheap additions to my collection, or I could give them away. Good way to keep my addiction in check while money is tight. Keeping my fingers crossed that they work out.

Waiting for my first Pen purchase in 2011, a Montblanc 146 Bordeaux. Also the first pen since I joined FPN.

If you're the winning bidder on that auction, congrats! I'd say that was a great price for the 146R, and a great OB nib.
