What pen are you waiting for in the mail?

Recommended Posts

Pilot MYU 701 with box, coming to UK from Japan.

Can't be many of these left out there, now?

Got an e-mail from the seller informing me that it has been posted. This is always the worrying time, when the pen is in no-mans land (so to speak). Fingers crossed for a safe passage.

I'm waiting on a Parker Vacumatic Major that I sent to be restored. I really like the look of this pen, and I eagerly await writing with it.

Also, I'm waiting on a Pilot 78g to use for math and physics at school.

had a bit of a buying spree over the last two weeks...all sheaffer's...

two fp's with the triumph nib (my first with these), one striated brown and gold body,

the other black with gold trims all the way through.

two stylists with the sandwiched/two sided nibs...these are such underrated pens, I say.

two targa nibs from speerbob's great stash of nos nibs...a RO and a 2mm calligraphy nib.

It's been a while since I had such a horde heading my way...better than xmas...or a least as good

as I remember it being when I was a kid. :cloud9:

I received a Parker 21 from Singapore yesterday and TWSBI Diamond 530 today. After dip testing the TWSBI... what an incredible pen! Such a smooth writer. Looks like it'll replace the custom ground Al-Star as a daily writer.

First a Delta Dolce Vita OS from the USA.....but before I get it, no doubt my usual battle with the Spanish Customs <img src="https://www.fountainpennetwork.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />

Also the 'Modern American' I wanted to fill a niche in my collection, a Bexley 10th Anniversary (green/red)...this will probably arrive first, as it's coming from within the EU.

And, no, not with patience...although living in Spain has helped me to learn a little!

(I'd like a nice Japanese pen now, to represent Asia, but haven't seen one yet which really grabs me.)

Namiki (Pilot) makes a nice Stirling Silver fountain Pen, similar in size to the Montblanc 146 engraved with a Jaguar, Mt. Fuji or a Dragon.

I am waiting for a Montblanc Limited Writers Edition Mark Twain and I am not being patient! I hope to have it in another week. I ordered it 1/31/11 and I was told that it is coming from supplier in Texas to pen company in Washington, DC and then on to me. I hope it is as nice as my Montblanc 146 against which I judge all fountain pens.
